Esperienza fantastica: We are so thankful we got to spend the day with Luigi and Sara. We brought our 4 kids, ages 17-15-11-11. Our youngest daughter was very timid about the biking, but Gigi (Luigi) rode with her, teaching her to use the EBike and got her fully comfortable! Recommended for all ages. The scenery is out of a movie!

Esperienza fantastica: Great one day bike tour from Cortona to Montepulciano. I was able to do the ride in reverse direction (as it says on their website). The bike I used was/is a Canyon carbon gravel bike with a GRX group set (2X 46x30 with an 11-36 rear cassette). I was able to handle pretty much anything on the ride, including most of a 5 mile climb with an average grade of 9%. The only thing holding me back (and even that only slightly) was my fitness level. I had trained for this ride (which is listed on the website as 35 miles) for 35 miles. We ended up riding 50 miles on mixed terrain (pavement, pea gravel and double track dirt). Beautiful country side, with amazing views of the mountains and farms. I got to see part of Italy that I would never have seen as part of a bus tour. Luigi was great guide. Picked me up at my hotel, got my bike ready quickly and we were off. He always made sure I was doing fine on the ride, and offered the encouragement I needed in order to get up the big climb. We talked about Italy, economics, family, bike riding, and life in general. I will definitely ride with BikewithTuscany the next, and every time I visit the Tuscan region.

Esperienza fantastica: My husband and I had a fabulous time in Sicily with Luigi and Sara! The hotels and restaurants were all perfect. Luigi and Sara obviously chose our restaurants and meals with great thought so we could experience the local cuisine. We were a small group of cyclists and I felt like we were all good friends by the end of the week. The scenery on our rides was a beautiful mix of seaside and quiet farm roads and hills up to Noto and Modica. I would highly recommend this cycle tour or any other Pedal and Sea Adventure trips.

Esperienza fantastica: In Oct/24, we finished a 7 day bike tour through parts of southern Sicily. Our guides were Luigi (“Gigi”) and Sara. In short, the bike trip was fantastic and Gigi and Sara were exceptional. The route planning and the accommodations were great and Gigi and Sara went out of their way to make our trip nothing less than perfect. Thanks to Gigi and Sara, this bike tour was the absolute best!!

Esperienza fantastica: My wife and I did a self-guided 5 day tour through the hill towns of Tuscany, starting in Siena and working our way south through the Val d'Orcia. Luigi and Sara prepared a beautiful plan for us, and took great care of us during the tour. Everything was well thought out, the accomodations were great, and the routes were truly spectacular. We will never forget our dreamy week riding the white roads, and we cannot wait to return to Italy to ride with Luigi and Sara again.

Esperienza fantastica: Riding in Tuscany was fantastic with Luigi and Sara as guides. I would have never found the roads they took me on and if I did, I’d probably be lost. I felt far safer on these roads than most roads in North America. As a bonus they both speak very good English. I’d highly recommend them and hope to return soon.

Esperienza fantastica: Luigi (Gigi) and Sarah with BikeRiding Tuscany made the experience for my wife and I one that we will absolutely never forget. Their shop alone up the hill in Rapolano was a sight to behold before we ever got on a bike. An E-bike for my wife and a top of the line road bike for me couldn’t have been more perfect to navigate the unbelievable countryside of the Tuscan region and get exercise, even on an E-bike. Gigi was a great guide and Sarah drove the van to not only take pictures and videos but to also block traffic from time to time if need be. It felt like they became good friends. After about 20 miles we put the bikes into the van and we headed to the beautiful town of Montepulciano to eat a delicious lunch, drink some fabulous red wine and experience this incredible place. We highly recommend BikeRiding Tuscany and Luigi and Sarah for an experience of a lifetime!

Esperienza fantastica: Simona is een enorm vriendelijke dame! We belden de dag zelf nog op een fiets te huren en dat was meteen mogelijk. Toen we aankwamen een halfuurtje later stonden die fietsen al meteen klaar. Na een duidelijke uitleg over de werking gaf ze ons 2 routes mee die we konden volgen. We hadden zelf het weer wat onderschat (veel regen), maar dat was voor Simona geen enkel probleem! Aanrader voor je verblijf in Toscane!

Esperienza fantastica: I was able to rent a gravel bike quite spontaneously for two days, so I could discover Tuscany on my own. I checked out some routes on komoot and had some fantastic rides! Luigi and Sara were very kind, flexible and helpful. For example were they very oncomming regarding at which to time to get or bring back the bike or, after I realized some gears were not shifting properly, I got an early appointment where Luigi got it fixed. So the communication was fast and productive. The bike I was riding was from Scott, light and with Ultegra components. I was bringing my own frame bag (to avoid having a backpack) and lights, maybe something that could be considered in future to offer for rent as well as to even more improve the experience. I would definitely come back to them! Thank you guys very much!

Esperienza fantastica: We ordered a 6 day self guided private tour for 9 persons in Tuscany. Everything was excellent. We received custom-planned routes, as per our request. The hotels ordered were really nice. But most of all, the support was really at the best level. For example: we had a problem on a Sunday, and Luigi arrived within half an hour with a spare wheel. And the best part: Luigi and Sara were really friendly, almost like a family. I .highly recommend making a trip with bikeridingtuscany. They and Tuscany are really an excellent combination for an unforgateable experience.

Sarah took us on such an awesome ride giving us choices on routes along the way, keeping our pace. Luigi fitted us with nice bikes that had zero issues- we passed many cyclists with flats on the roads but our bikes were well checked and maintained. can’t wait to come back and do it again

Esperienza fantastica: We had 5 excellent days of gravel riding (self guided Tuscany tour). The routes that Luigi provided us were a good mix of paved and gravel, and of course hills! The bikes (Canyon Grizl) were very nice and the luggage was always waiting for us at the next hotel. Luigi was accomodating, modifying the routes based on my requests. I would definitely recommend doing a trip with this company.

Esperienza fantastica: Exceptional self guided tour. I highly recommend for all levels (but especially for a road cyclist). This is the tour company to book with! Bikes - excellent high end bikes. I rode a Canyon Ultimate CF SL Ultegra - light and fast and we'll tuned with new tires. My wife road the e-mountain bike which she really enjoyed. Routes - beautiful. We did 50-60km a day. Rapolano de Terme, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena and Castellini in Chianti. Varied terrain, vineyards, great climbs and beautiful medieval towns. Extremely well thought out. All on quiet roads. Hotels - all 3 and 4 stars with loads of character. The ones with pools were our favourites. All of the hotels were able to let us check in very early (it was hot so we rode as early as we could manage). Hotels all came with breakfast. Really great. Service - Luigi was a gem. Easy to contact, quick to communicate (before we came and during the tour) and passionate about cycling. He gave us a lot of great recommendations to help maximize our tour. I cannot say enough positive things about this trip and Bike Riding Tuscany. This was truly memorable. Highly recommended.

Esperienza fantastica: I was on a trip around the world and stopped in Italy. A friend recommended BikeRidingTuscany to me for an unforgettable experience and it didn’t let down. They planned a custom 1 day gravel ride for me that took us from Rapolano Terme to Sienna and back. The pace was perfect and they were gracious with any requests for breaks or stops for water/food. He was absolutely amazing - he picked us up at the train station, took us to his workshop where he gave me a fantastic bike (Canyon), and we set off for a magical day in the countryside. Luigi planned an incredible route and was our knowledgeable host and guide through the ride, constantly making sure that my brother and I were doing well and having fun. I spent nearly 2 weeks in Italy, and this was the highlight, and can't wait to return and do a longer trip with him. The entire day was so memorable, thanks to Luigi!

Data la sua grande disponibilità nel condividere informazioni ed indicazioni abbiamo anche avuto modo di capire quanto sia una risorsa preziosa per organizzare prossimamente un bike tour guidato. Infatti , come spesso accade a chi non nasce in un luogo dandolo per scontato, Luigi conosce i percorsi più belli da percorrere in bici che ci ha descritto con tale dovizia di particolari e di passione da farci percepire quale debba essere l’emozione nel seguirlo su tali percorsi. Torneremo presto per condividere nuove emozioni, scenari ed avventure.

Esperienza fantastica: Alquilé una bicicleta con motivo de la Strade Bianche. Contacté con el dueño de la tienda 3 meses antes y desde el primer momento fue super atento, le expliqué para lo que quería la bicicleta y me aconsejó la Scott Addict Gravel. Yo en un principio prefería alquilar carretera ya que nunca había probado una bicicleta de gravel y tenia miedo que me lastrase mucho en los tramos de asfalto, estaba totalmente equivocado. Hice una prereserva y hasta 5 días antes de recoger la bicicleta no se realizó ningún cargo. Luigi tiene mucha experiencia como Guía y ciclista y su recomendación he de decir que fue todo un acierto ya que la bicicleta montaba neumáticos schwalbe de 35mm tubelizados (para lo cual me dejó también una bomba de pie). El estado de mantenimiento de la bicicleta era perfecto, con el cambio muy bien ajustado y sin ningún tipo de ruido, se nota que les realiza un buen mantenimiento, engrasado y ajuste. Sin duda alguna repetiré si vuelvo por la zona y no dudaría en recomendarlo al 100%. I rented a bicycle on the occasion of the Strade Bianche. I contacted the owner of the store 3 months before and from the first moment he was super attentive. I explained what I wanted the bike for and he advised me the Scott Addict Gravel. At first I preferred to rent a road bike since I had never tried a gravel bike and I was afraid that it would delayed me a lot on the asphalt sections but I was totally wrong. I made a pre-booking and up to 5 days before picking up the bike no charge was made. Luigi has a lot of experience as a guide and cyclist and his recommendation I have to say that it was a success since the bike mounted schwalbe tires of 35mm tubeless (for which he also left me a foot pump). The state of maintenance of the bike was perfect, with the change very well adjusted and without any noise, it shows that it performs good maintenance, greasing and adjustment. Without a doubt I will repeat if I return to the area and I would not hesitate to recommend it 100%.

Esperienza bellissima sulle crete senesi grazie a Luigi, alla sua enorme professionalità, gentilezza e preparazione. Si capisce subito che per lui non è solo un lavoro, la sua è una grande passione per la bicicletta. Mi ha dato una gravel Canyon stupenda, mi ha spiegato il percorso, si è reso disponibile per eventuali contrattempi avessi avuto durante il giro. Esperienza fantastica: THANK YOU LUIGI for a wonderful self-guided trip through Tuscany. My wife and I are avid cyclists with a good sense of our strengths and limitations, and the latter included not bringing our own bikes to Europe or lugging gear up steep hills. We asked Luigi and Simona to organize a self-guided, ten-day cycling tour of Tuscany for us with a few constraints: a combination of paved roads and gravel, limits on climbing (no more than 1200 m per day) and distance (70 km maximum), comfortable accommodations, and providing one of us with an e-bike and the other with a gravel bike. They did a terrific job, offering paved and gravel options each day, ensuring our luggage arrived at our destination before we did, offering suggestions on restaurants and places to visit, and being available to help in case of an emergency. The trip was the perfect combination of challenging cycling, good equipment, nightly comfort, and the independence we desired to travel at our own pace and select the time and location for meals. My wife and I have led cycling trips before and appreciated the skills Luigi brought to organizing our trip. What else can I say, except that we’ll be back next year. Grazie mille! Esperienza fantastica: Gigi and Simona were great hosts for the Tuscany cycling and cooking guided tour my wife and I took a few weeks ago. They made sure all 7 of the participants were well looked after. The hotel we stayed at (Castello delle Serre) was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend BikeRidingTuscany!

Esperienza fantastica: I enjoyed a private ride with Luigi of BikeRiding Tuscany on 9-9-2022. Tuscany/Chianti loop of 43 miles. Wonderful experience, incredible scenery. Luigi was professional, helpful and was very attentive to my safety throughout the ride. He kept looking back and when a car would come from behind he would make sure I was safe for the car to pass. He is very skilled at this. He also was very good at making sure the ride was exactly at my level, not less or more. This was a hilly route, about 3600 feet climbing, and he made sure to slow down when needed so I could handle it. He also explained there are much less hilly options but I wanted to ride through Chianti. And he admitted he loves it too. But he is very flexible and would have taken me elsewhere if I wanted flatter roads. I want to reemphasize his attention to safety: we were coming up on a small village where the entrance gate was one lane. He warned me ahead of time that we are to come to a stop before approaching that entrance, which took effort since the approach was downhill. But sure enough, as we approached, a big van came out of that gate with no space to the left or right. This is the main point of this review: if Luigi had not been with me to warn me of that approach danger, and a dozen others, it could have been dangerous. Having him to guide a ride is worth every euro and more. I appreciated this excellent experience and recommend this company very much.

Esperienza fantastica: Our group's day trip from our villa to Pienza and back was the highlight of our vacation. Gigi, Simona, and Sara were terrific guides--very responsive and flexible, well prepared (even with our bikes adjusted to our individual heights in advance), and full of positive energy. Of course, the Tuscan countryside and the medieval town of Pienza are gorgeous. The e-bikes made the hills possible for people mostly in our (ahem) late 50s. Gigi paid special attention to the child in our group, who was not a very experienced rider. His patient teaching and encouragement built her confidence and made the trip a success that she'll never forget. You will not go wrong with BikeRidingTuscany!

Esperienza fantastica: BikeRisingTuscany was exceptional! We had 2 one day trips from Sienna through the Tuscany county side. Our small group rode though the magnificent rolling rolls of Chianti and Travertine areas. We stopped at medieval town squares for cappuccino and enjoyed lookouts over beautiful valleys. Luigi was well organized, punctual and adjusted the trip to our needs. His equipment is state of art. He was anole to provide an e-bike when I felt tired in the second day, for example. Fabulous experience. Highly recommended.

Esperienza fantastica: We took a one-day bike tour with Luigi and Simona in the Tuscan hills. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride though the hills were a workout at times. It was just what we asked for and a great way to see the Tuscan countryside. Luigi arranged a great spot to have lunch before we completed the ride. The equipment was first rate (gravel bikes and one ebike). Luigi rode with us and picked a great route with little traffic. Wish we could have done more than one day. Well done Luigi and Simona!

Esperienza fantastica: Took a one day guided tour with Sara. They met my brief really well and Sara took me on a beautiful gravel loop around the Tuscan hills and villages. The bike, support and guide we're all top notch. I've done a decent amount of cycling and the ride exceeded my expectations.

Esperienza fantastica: נעזרנו בחברה לטיולי אופניים חשמליות מודרכים. החברה (סימונה) עשתה מעל ומעבר םמצופה לספק לנו מסלולים מדהימים, תוך הענות לכל בקשותינו. החברה העמידה לרשותינו את שרה המדהימה, מדריכת אופניים מקצועית, שבמיוחד עבורינו רכבה על אופניים חשמליים, במקום אופני כביש תחרותיים (מחר יוצאת לתחרות של 140 קמ, אנחנו בטוחים שהיא תביא מקום מכובד מאוד) שרה היתה ממש מקסימה, אנרגטית, חברותית, התחברה עם כולנו, 9 רוכבים ישראלים ײמעצבניםײ, ליוותה אותנו במסלולים יוצאי דופן ביופיים, וממש התחברה איתנו תוך כדי סיפורים על איטליה וחיי היום יום של האנשים באזור. היה ממש כייף מיוחד איתה. תודה רבה רבה. נשתמע בקרוב בטיולי האופניים בטוסקנה בפרט ואיטליה בכלל. החברה מוציאה טיולים גם לפוליה ועוד...

Esperienza fantastica: Luigi è un amante delle terre toscane e trasmette la sua passione agli ospiti che vivono con lui la giornata! Il ritmo tenuto in bicicletta permette appieno di godere di panorami mozzafiato e notare anche le piccole cose. Contattato per organizzare una visita “ad hoc” della Val D’Orcia, abbiamo visitato i piccoli borghi di Pienza, Bagno Vignoni e San Quirico D’Orcia, passando attraverso sentieri, strade sterrate, crete senesi e le verdi colline toscane. Un totale di 44 km per due persone non allenate come noi è stato gratificante e non impossibile: che grande invenzione le bici elettriche! Consiglio pantaloncini da ciclista per evitare indolenzimenti da sellìno! :)

Abbiamo fatto 50 km perlustrando le colline del Chianti, un percorso suggerito dal proprietario del negozio. È stata una bellissima esperienza! Il proprietario del negozio è una persona deliziosa, gentilissimo, molto professionale e disponibile.

Esperienza fantastica: Luigi is a nice guy with a lot of knowledge about the roads in Toscany which are perfect for riding a road bike or montainbike. The bikes Luigi offers for rent are beautifull and nicely maintained. For me it was the second year that I rented a road bike from Luigi. I had a wonderfull time and I woud like to thank Luigi for the bike and giving me great tips for the nicest roads!

Ci ha noleggiato delle bici di qualità con tanto di “kit d’emergenza”. Dato il tempo incerto ci ha dato coraggio rendendosi disponibile a venerci a prendere ovunque se le condizioni fossero peggiorate! Avevamo già in mente l’itinerario e lui è stato davvero gentile da analizzarlo con noi mostrandoci varianti più opportune/suggestive, consigliandoci anche vari luoghi dove gustarci prodotti locali. Esperienza fantastica: Quando la professionalità si accompagna all'entusiasmo, alla competenza, alla gentilezza allora si incontra Luigi che ha saputo farci innamorare di queste terre osservandole dagli angoli più pittoreschi delle Crete Senesi. La bicicletta con pedalata assistita ha reso possibile lo svolgimento di 60 km di percorso su dislivelli totali di circa 1000 mt anche per una patata attempata come me. Esperienza fantastica: Incontro miracolosamente Luigi a circa 10 km da Rapolano Terme dov’è il suo fantastico negozio. Mi ha trovato fermo con la mia bicicletta e con il dente della mia catena spezzato ( un incubo per tutti i ciclisti ). Lui da vera guida e da grande uomo mi a spinto in bici fino alla sua officina, riparandomi immediatamente catena e freno. Che dire, persone come lui sono un esempio per tutti soprattutto per quelli che si stanno avvicinando al mondo del ciclismo. È stato un vero piacere conoscere Luigi e spero di rincontrarlo presto perché ci ha trasmesso ancora più passione e conoscenza del mondo delle bici nel Chianti

Many routes are proposed by the guide of all different difficulties from very easy to harder for more experienced cyclists.
