Esperienza fantastica: Riccardo was incredible! I was skeptical about taking a golf cart tour because I was worried I would it would feel too touristy, but it was perfect! It would have taken us over a week to show our kids all the sights Riccardo showed us in under three hours. I had lived in Rome for a semester many years ago, and I learned so much about the main historical sights around Rome. It was really enjoyable and the kids loved the thrill of driving around in a golf cart. Riccardo was really kind and had so much knowledge to share with us.

He was very knowledgeable about the history of the places that we visited and ensured that we took our time to look around. Transportation was speedy and we really appreciated being picked up at our hotel in the Trastevere area.

Esperienza fantastica: Took our tour with Vito from Turtle Tours. We had been walking a great deal prior to this tour. Utilizing this tour provided a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable & this was the highlight of our trip. This is the best method of covering a lot more ground without hours of long walks. Highly recommend this company. They picked us up at our hotel and we saw more sights this way than we would have, had we walked.

Esperienza fantastica: I came to Rome with my mother to experience the Jubilee celebration before our Mediterranean cruise. This is a special treat because as travelers who usually come with a larger family group, we rarely ever get to the see the holy landmarks and churches, in favor of the more traditional tourist destinations. In this case, we had originally booked the Martyrs and Relics tour, and about a week before our arrival, I asked if we could add on a few hours to also visit the basilicas with the holy doors as well. What an EXPERIENCE! First to say, that the person who helped me setup the changes was phenomenal and went out of her way to ensure we had the best itinerary without backtracking or wasting time. So then to Mateo. AMAZING!!! His knowledge, professionalism, kindness and humor made the day fly by. We learned SO MUCH! Yes, from what we saw and heard on this tour, but also things that we can take with us on other biblical or historical tours. He taught us about the meanings behind the frescoes, the extra details of every church, painting, statue, and literally everything we saw. My mom asks a lot of questions and he wasn’t stumped, not even once. We had such a great time with Mateo, and would request him again. He truly set the standard for the rest of the trip. The tour and locations we went to were inspiring and held incredible meaning to the Christian faithful. In reality, though, the tour came to life with Mateo and is what made it stand out as the best tour we have ever taken.

Esperienza fantastica: Sam picked us up at our lodging and from there we had the most pleasant 3 hours driving around Rome. We saw beautiful churches and he took us to some balconies that had the most impressive sights of Rome you could get. He was a very careful driver. Recommend highly and try to get Sam as your guide.

Duccio took us to numerous iconic historical spots for a 2 1/2 hr. tour that we would never be able to get to in that amount of time on foot or in a car. We loved his knowledge and excitement to share it. We loved the open air in the golf cart, the ability to see better, park and get out. Also, because it is a private tour, we could customize as needed.

Esperienza fantastica: We did the night time golf cart tour the first day arriving to Rome. I’m so happy we did! It was an amazing experience and I can’t say enough about our tour guy, Flavio. He was so fun, so knowledgeable! At the end of the tour, we planned to eat dinner but had no clue where. Flavio made a recommendation, called the restaurant, dropped us off at the front door. The gentleman at the restaurant quickly escorted us to our table like we were vip. It was the PERFECT evening!!

The evening had cleared and it was a beautiful way to create our first impressions of Rome. Rome at night is completely different than by day. Esperienza fantastica: This is a must do activity in Rome. We did the 8pm tour with Federico and had a fantastic time. Federico is a friendly, skilled and knowledgeable guide who navigated the busy city expertly and gave us some recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Each stop we made had enough time to see and take some quick snaps, the cart was new and comfortable. Highly recommend this tour.

Esperienza fantastica: Book this tour with confidence, especially with Matteo as your guide! We started our day on time and were whisked around the city to many major landmarks, as well as historical sites off the beaten path. One of our favorites was a view of the city where we could view the Pantheon, Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Medici Castle, presidential palace, and other historic landmarks at the same time. We also visited many of these locations up close. Matteo was professional and we soaked in many historical details throughout our trip. He was also a very safe driver, which we appreciated on the busy streets of Rome. If you only have a day or half a day to tour the city, this is worth the cost! High quality, curated to our interests, and rich history will make you feel like you’ve really seen Rome without having to walk to every site!

Extremely knowledgable about all of the history of Rome and will shape the tour based on what you’re looking for and will include some hidden gems. Additionally, he gave some incredible recommendations after the tour from Rooftop bars to historical landmarks! Andrea was the best!
