Esperienza negativa: I do not suggest you hire this company. We had many problems and they cancelled our tour a couple days before my tour date. They did offer a new time, which we kind of had to accept but it ruined our plans for the day. I had booked this tour many months in advance . Our next issue was they gave us the wrong tickets when we finally made it to our tour and we could not enter the Coloseum. The tour guide apoligised but had to leave with out us. A rep finally showed up ehile we waited with security and admitted the mistake they made with the admission ticket for me and my family and we did not get our tour. Marta said she would give us a Full Refund. We did not get the full amount refund. I paid over 500 canadian for the tour. And I got a partial refund only . I have tried calling and what's app messages but they ignore my messages and phone calls. Expedia has also tried multiple times to contact and get the remaining balance owed to us. What is really wild is thst I paid over $500 for 2 adults and 3 kids for the tour. I was forced to do my own tour because of the wrong tickets they provided us. The security guy felt really bad for us and escorted us right to the ticket booth. He was super helpful and couldn't believe they were charging 500 bucks for a tour. I paid 36 euros for 2 adults and kids under 18 were free. I could not believe the mark up of over 500 dollars . Do your self a favour, go early to the colusseum wait in line for an hour and pay the 18 dollar admission. You will probably get there so early anyways waiting for your tour to start that time in line is almost the same. I do not reccomend this company. It was not a pleasant experience for the Colusseum. If you have questions , ask the staff in yellow shirts who actually work for the colosseum, not the fake staff tour people.

Esperienza negativa: All of our 6 days in Rome were planned carefully. We scheduled and paid $230 for this tour of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill . Originally the tour was scheduled to start at 9:45 am when it's not so hot. The day before the tour I received a message saying that the tour was rescheduled for 1:45 pm when it's very hot. Although disappointed we still arrived at the meeting place Caffe Roma 30 minutes early and no one from Rome Your Way Tours ever showed up. A full day of our vacation was wasted. WORST TOUR COMPANY EVER !!!

Esperienza negativa: Only the Vatican Museum was offered, while the Vatican Museum (where we spent two hours), the Sistine Chapel (closed following the Pope's death, but no financial compensation was offered), and St. Peter's Basilica were also offered. The guide told us we couldn't visit it, even though it was open. The travel agency never warned us that we wouldn't be able to visit the Sistine Chapel or St. Peter's Basilica! We only completed a third of the program for nearly €100 per person, with no possibility of a partial refund! This is a scam, as denounced in numerous reviews. So avoid this tour/travel agency.

Esperienza negativa: Réservé sur get your guide, et visite faites samedi 1 et mars nous avions payé pour le musée du Vatican la chapelle sixtine et la basilique St Pierre, et bien après la chapelle sixtine, notre guide nous dit on ne pourra pas aller à la basilique et cette dame ne s est pas donné la peine non plus de nous accompagner sur l esplanade du Vatican. Avec un accent qui nous a empêché de comprendre ttes les explications du musée. Nous avons payé très cher, nous sommes très déçu, ne réservez pas chez ses personnes malhonnêtes. Ça n en vaut pas la peine.

Less than two days before our tour they emailed asking us (!!) to cancel our tour through Viator because they cannot do the tour, and now we’re scrambling last minute while we’re supposed to be enjoying our vacation to make other arrangements. Use anyone else for your guiding needs in Rome.

Esperienza negativa: We had a Vatican/Coliseum tour booked months in advance. We arrived at the Vatican tour and were told that they didn’t have tickets for the Coliseum portion. Only our family of 4 was told this in a large group. While the Vatican tour was great, their handling of the Coliseum portion was terrible. We are still waiting for a refund for that portion.

Esperienza positiva: Tour started 30 minutes late. Tour sold on Expedia was not the same as the tour by Rome your way tours and we’re missing the Pantheon. And they passed the buck on to saying you gotta deal with Expedia, but are they not the ones that are performing the tours not Expedia. The tour guide himself did an excellent job .

Esperienza fantastica: Our guide lady was really patient and knowledgeable. She managed to show us loads and gave us enough time to take pictures. She knew all the best spots to do so. I really enjoyed the trip. There were a lot of questions that she answered . Impressive . And highly recommend. Thanks Flavia

Nous recommandons. Nous avions réservé par l'intermédiaire de Get Your Guide.

Esperienza negativa: 1st time in Rome. Booked a Vatican tour with them through Expedia to go on a Friday night, we went to the meeting point according to the tour instructions and nobody showed up to pick us up. The office is supposed to be open from 8:30am to 7pm and we were calling them since 6:40pm and nobody answered the phone. Next day someone finally answered the phone at 11am and stated that they never got the notification from Expedia about our tour and they couldn't include us on next day's tour, Sunday the Vatican is closed for mass, and we are leaving Monday so what was supposed to be the highlight of our trip became the biggest dissapointment. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Esperienza negativa: Had booked reservations for a full day tour in January 2023 and was notified 2 weeks before the trip that the booking was cancelled because they could not fulfill the Vatican portion of the tour. They had months and months to prepare for this reservation and now I've struggled to find any options that are open for the day planned in Rome for the tours. Do not use this company!

Nos quedamos con la cara partida al no presentarse nadie para la visita guiada que contratamos con ellos, ni siquiera un correo electrónico,un mensaje de WhatsApp ó una simple llamada para su explicación por la cancelación. Os podéis imaginar la situación vivida, pero ésto no se queda así. Ya tendrán su merecido. No se van a ir de rositas...

Esperienza negativa: A FUIR. Obligé de mettre une étoile si l'on veut mettre un commentaire !!!! Visite guidée retenue depuis plus de 5 mois et annulée 24 h avant départ. Après moult démarches, nous obtenons une visite non guidée en fin d'après midi ( avec audio guide seulement) pour la même somme de 80 euros par personne !!!... Prix du ticket d'entrée au Vatican: 17 euros pour adulte et 8 euros pour enfant; 5 euros l'audioguide.... Un scandale!! Résultat visite NULE et trop tard pour entrer à la Basilique Saint Pierre.

Esperienza negativa: Arrived for our Vatican tour at 8:30 am and was told our English-speaking guide did not show up. They basically sent us to the Vatican on our own with the pre-recorded audio tour. The only bonus was we did get to skip the long line to get in. Stay away from this tour company. We booked this through Viator, so when looking at tours take note of who your tour operator is. I would NOT recommend this company. Just looking at the past Google reviews for June/July 2023 and this seems to be a common theme of guides not showing up and no communication of cancellation or no show guides. Supposedly we will get a percentage of a refund. Will update if/when that happens. Definitely go with another tour company with a better reputation. Update: Viator the online site where we booked our tour did give us the expected refund in a few days.

Day of tour No guide showed up. A “ messenger “ handed us tickets and said we were on our own. I’m still waiting for the refund.

Esperienza negativa: Cancelled the Colosseum tour. No one showed to tell us and the 18 others who booked the tour. We called the company and the said they were closed on Sundays, we could not leave a voicemail either. Interestingly they took our money for a tour on Sunday. My travel agent will be getting our money back.

Esperienza negativa: Booked the English tour of the colosseum and palatine hill, guide did not show and sent us off into the colosseum alone. Did get us through the tour entrance to palatine hill but did not tell us we had to stay together as a group and use the ticket to be able to get into the museum

Esperienza negativa: We booked the Skip the line: Colosseum and Ancient Rome small group walking tour in French through Viator. When we showed up at the meeting point, we were informed that it had been canceled. We, and all others who also showed up, never received any cancellation notice. The tour guide for the English group tried to blame Viator but a short moment after, said that she tried to call us to inform us. We did get a full refund and a booking to see the Colosseum on an ulterior day after almost an hour spent on the phone and WhatsApp messages with Viator.

Esperienza negativa: Extremely harassing experience, booked this supplier via agent. Upon reaching the pick up point at Colosseum our names weren’t listed at their and and they refused us tickets for entry despite making the full payment in advance. Their excuse was their was an issue with the entry tickets. We travelled about 40 kms to get there for nothing . Had no courtesy to even arrange for tickets. They turned us away saying they'll refund the ticket price. Wont recommend at all

Esperienza negativa: Tour Guide no-showed to the listed meeting point and start time. We waited for an hour, along with 7 others that were booked for our tour. Their office did not answer numerous calls over several hours. Tickets are all sold out for the day through over avenues. The colosseum was our most anticipated event of this trip, and now we don’t get to see it. Such a heartbreak knowing that we have tickets out there, but we cannot get inside.

Esperienza negativa: We had a Colosseum and Pantheon tour scheduled for the afternoon of 29 April. There were 12 of us waiting for the guide to show up. She never did! One Italian man contacted her and she changed the starting location to the opposite end of the tour!!! None of us received her supposed messages. She was also very rude on the phone. Viator only offered a 25% refund. Shame!

Esperienza negativa: En una palabra: TERRIBLE. Que manera de acabar con la ilusión de una familia. NO CONTRATEN NUNCA CON ROME YOUR WAY. El día y hora acordado nos presentamos 15 minutos antes en el punto de encuentro. Allí apareció un chico, Luca, y al preguntarle nos dijo que nuestra visita estaba cancelada, que era a las 14:00 en lugar de a las 8:30 y que nos habían enviado un correo para avisarnos, cosa que era mentira (había otra familia en nuestra misma situación). Después de cambiar todos nuestros planes del día volvimos a la hora indicada, a las 14:00 , bueno, media hora antes y cuál fue nuestra sorpresa cuando allí no se presento nadie. (Había otra familia distinta a la de la mañana) Llámanos al proveedor y nos dice que el guía ya se ha ido porque hemos llegado tarde. MENTIRA. Finalmente nos reprograman la visita para el día siguiente a las 14:00. Llegamos 15 minutos antes y no vemos a nadie. Por fin aparece el Luca y nos dice que la guía está mala y que no hay visita. Según está mi marido hablando con la mayorista aparece una señora y le pregunto si tiene el tour en español y me dice que ella es la guía . Impresionante. Al final hicimos la visita pero fue un horror. La guía malísima, sin ganas, con prisas, lo único que le importaba era que no perdiésemos los auriculares porque si no los tenía que pagar. En el grupo había un matrimonio brasileño que había pagado un extra por hacer la visita en portugués y …. la hicieron en español con nosotros. NO CONTRATEN NUNCA CON ROME YOUR WAY.

Esperienza negativa: Arrived 3 minutes late, was told there is no way to refund your money, you can’t attend another tour for the day, or any following days. Please do not use this company. Disappointing customer service. We were told multiple times, “not our problem”

Esperienza negativa: This company needs to really improve when it comes to customer service. We could not find our tour guide on the day of our tour because the meeting spot was a shared meeting spot for multiple tours and it quickly became very chaotic. We arrived about 30 minutes early and spent the entire time searching for the “Rome Your Way Tours” flag or any indicator of our tour and approached multiple people asking for guidance yet no one could help us. After spending all of this time, we couldn’t find anyone. It’s unclear whether or not our tour guide was even there!! After dealing with this frustrating situation we simply tried to contact the Rome Your Way Tours office to ask for a refund or simply if we could reschedule and yet no one from their office was bothered to answer the phone. We then contacted expedia whom we booked the tour through and they were very helpful and tried to contact them as well but again, no one even answered the phone. A few days later, they finally responded and instead of being understanding and helping us, they denied a refund even though we never got to go on the tour which is what we payed for!! I’m very disappointed in this company’s lack of customer service and their inability to go above and beyond for their clients. Never booking with them again and you shouldn’t either!

Esperienza fantastica: Caroline was wonderful. She took us on a tour of the Vatican. Since she studied art history she was able to give us lots of information and details about the art we saw. She took the time to explain about the conclave and different small things they do at Vatican that you wouldn't know otherwise. I started to ask her if she could just spend the day with us showing us her city.

Esperienza fantastica: Siamo stati coinvolti in un tour emozionante e divertente partendo dal Colosseo fino a Piazza Navona. Siamo stati molto fortunati ad aver partecipato da soli con la guida Priscilla, che è stata professionale e allo stesso tempo amichevole. Ci ha trasmesso passione e l'intera visita è volata tra storia, leggende e mito! Ovviamente la bellezza di Roma ha contribuito in questa esperienza che consigliamo assolutamente, ma crediamo che senza Priscilla non sarebbe stata la stessa cosa! Grazie!

Nous avons passé 3 heures très agréables en sa compagnie, riches en anecdotes et informations. Un guide papier ne nous aurait jamais aussi bien informé. Nous recommandons chaleureusement.

Esperienza fantastica: My girlfriend and I joined one of the Ninfa gardens tours in August 2019. It was a hot time of year and we booked this tour to see the garden specifically. I thought this would be one of our lesser daytrips since we were doing a bunch around the vatican...but this tour became one of our fondest memories. Our guide was wonderful, I wish I hadn't forgotten her name but she was amazing. Very knowledgable about the castle we initially saw as well as a very open with us...a very italian person who we had an amazing time with talking at the amazing lunch in the old medival town. It was such a simple italian meal but one I just cant forget...all the wine was helpful! Then we went to the garden and just loved it.....I cant put it all into words. I have pictures that you could sell from simple phone camera pictures...pure bliss. Amazing tour, amazing guide, amazing experience. Thank you so much, so much more real than many of the big tour companies.

Esperienza negativa: Due to COVID-19 we were not able to travel to Italy. The cancellation policy states 48 hours advance notice needed, we have been trying to contact them for over one month... No email replies and their phone does not answer on their posted business hours. I understand hardships business and tourism are enduring but we all have bills to pay, still hoping they will come through with the cancellation and refund.

Esperienza fantastica: This was an amazing tour! If you are interested in exploring things that aren’t on the usual route, this is the tour for you. Our guide’s name was Alessandra and she has a real passion for what she does. She was funny, informative and knew the best spots to take pictures from. This was a very pleasant experience!

Esperienza negativa: Eine absolute Katastrophe. Unser Guide, Stefano, war einfach unmöglich, was die gesamte Tour verstaute. Immer wieder sagte er unverschämte Sätze wie "Alte Dame, geht es oder soll ich einen Helikopter rufen?" oder "Neros Mutter war ein Biest, wie so viele Frauen". Im Kolosseum wurde uns zudem nur kurz im Erdgeschoss etwas erzählt, über den Innenraum haben wir nichts erfahren! Dafür hatten wir letztendlich die Tour überhaupt gebucht! Auch der Start- und Endpunkt der Tour wurde verschoben, sodass wir unsere Pläne am Tag anpassen mussten, um nicht mehrfach hin und her zu fahren. Einige aus unserer Gruppe hatten zudem die Tour morgens gebucht und mussten dann die Tour mittags mitmachen, was sie erst einen Tag vorher erfahren hatten und so in der prallen Sonne laufen mussten, was sie vermeiden wollten. Alles in einem nicht zu empfehlen!

We arrived 15 mins early at the meeting point as indicated on our voucher. We stood there until 9:45am an coordinator came to tell us that we need to go to another place to start as they do not have tickets for the time slot currently. I believe it is the tour companies responsibility to notify us at least 1 day in advance. The coordinator was not apologetic at all and she made us run around little sheeps. They are not really organized. Because In the end we had to use our own money to buy metro ticket to ride the metro and catch a bus to meet up with the guide. With all the changes many people couldnt make it until the end because they had other commitments. This 3 hr tour that was supposed to start at 10am and end at 1pm.... ended at 3pm! ********* BEWARE************

Esperienza negativa: Nada recomendable. Pondría - 1 estrella. Compramos tour Basílica San Pedro, museos, capilla Sixtina. Y pese a pagar 90 euros/persona, tuvimos que esperar en cola, y el motivo fue para guardar el sitio a otro grupo que llegaban retrasados y sin entrada preferente. La guía nos dejó sin ver Capilla Sixtina y Basílica San Pedro porque a las dos horas y media tenía otro grupo. Nos dijo que su trabajo había concluido a las dos horas y media, y nos dejó tirados con un mapa dentro de los museos. Terrible!!!

Esperienza negativa: We showed up for our tour of the Colosseum only to be told by one of the tour guides that there were no English tours today. We weren’t notified at all. She gave vague instructions to come back on Saturday. Didn’t offer any sort of guarantee that we will actually be in Saturday’s tour, if there even is one. Luckily we will be here that day. It would suck if we weren’t here that day. But now I’m wondering if we’ll even get to see the damn thing.

We waited in the rain for 1 hour, 30 minutes past the meeting time, and no tour guide showed up. This lack of customer service is inexcusable. Ruined our first day in Rome when we could have booked with a company that would have actually shown up. They haven’t refunded us the money for the tour. This company is a tourist trap. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS COMPANY

Esperienza negativa: We booked a one day tour to Tivoli Day Trip from Rome with Lunch Including Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este. The day before we were scheduled to depart, we received an email that the trip was cancelled "due to weather" . While we did get our money back. we were disappointed to be cancelled with not enough days to rebook. The day of the trip turned out sunny and warm in the afternoon, and we are baffled as to what weather caused the cancellation.. Definitely not "Rome your way"!

Esperienza fantastica: Today we took a tour with Nichole from this company and saw the Coloseum, Forum, Pantheon and a few others. I have a master's degree and Nichole's knowledge of Rome blew me away. She was able to answer everyone's questions thoroughly. She was also very polite and attentive to each of our group members.
