Esperienza negativa: My fault I trusted to these people, I paid for skipping the line double of the normal price of a ticket to vatican museum with sistina chapel!!! But what upset me the most was the lies behind!!! It’s not true you need to purchase a guide to get to the chapel! And their not ashamed telling you you need a ticket for €50 with a guide! Regular ticket costs 17€!!!! Purchase a ticket online and you’ll see everything and you’ll jump the queue ;) you can get audioguide as well.

Esperienza fantastica: Unfortunately the scenario of the caffè is not the best with the tents of the homeless just outside. The bar is still a good place though to hang out if you are in the Vatican area!

Esperienza negativa: Gave us reduced price tickets instead of adult. Refunded us for the difference, but its obvious they did it on purpose in order to resell tickets at a higher price. Only chose this option because it was sold out otherwise.

Esperienza negativa: Scam, tickets are €16 inside and €21 online with booking and reservation. All theses tour groups are scams. Claiming to be working with the Vatican. Pope should kick all these people out of the area.

Esperienza negativa: The actual guide wasn't bad but the salesperson lied about what was included and the prices. Save your time and money and pick a different tour company. These guys are not trustworthy.

Esperienza negativa: Absolute shambles! Arrived at 915 am to the area. Got stopped by a tour guide and taken to their office for a 945am tour. Then told 1030. Skip the line/tour guide but still had to queue up. It’s now 1120am and we are still only just walked through the doors to the ticketing area! Nearly an hour queuing and they told us no queues. Also cost 320 Euro’s for 4 and other guided tours walked straight in, passed the queues and paid a lot less. Tour guide was rude when we asked what was happening. He said this is a miracle tour and we have to now queue up to get a ticket!! Stay well away!!

Esperienza negativa: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL! Do yourself a favour purchase tickets through get your guide app and continue. Don’t be fooled by these scam artists. My cousin and I purchased 2 tickets to see the Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel. The rest of the attractions were free entry. The sales person led me to believe that we had limited access to a certain part of the Vatican. This was FALSE! We ended up paying extra for a guided tour we did not want in the first place. The tour guide took us to the Sistine Chapel and left us. We managed to explore the rest without tickets. Don’t let this happen to you. General rule: Don’t trust anyone encouraging you to upgrade your tickets. These scam artists are very talented in their craft and it is not something to be celebrated. They are low lives who prey on vulnerable tourists (dramatic I know, but TRUE!)

Esperienza negativa: ESTAFA y FRAUDE. Nos dicen q cuesta 35€ por persona entrar a las atracciones del Vaticano y cuesta 8€ estudiante y 17€ adulto. Ellos nos han cobrado 50 pax por ser estudiantes.Prometen no Colas, pero sin embargo hay una cola fe todos los tours. El tour supuestamente incluye Basílica, museos y el resto del Vaticano, mentira. La basílica estaba cerrada y no nos han avisado y encima es gratis. Los museos nos han explicado 1 o ni eso y antes de llegar a la capilla sixtina la guía ha pedido los auriculares y se ha despedido. La guía era italiana (Vanesa) y se la entendía muy mal el español hay expliacado las cosas por encima y corriendo, no ha explicado todo ni de lejos. NO CONTRAR NADA CON ELLOS.

Esperienza fantastica: On a Recent visit to Rome in November my friend and I took the vatican museum and sistine chapel tour with Veniero Tours. I had fist seen the Sistine Chapel back in 1972 and wanted to see it again since it has been restored. We had the pleasure of having Antononelli Chiata as our guide. Antonelli brought a passion and knowledge to the tour as well as a quick wit. Thank you Antononelli. George Leone Hamburg, NY

Esperienza negativa: Unfortunately, we did not check the opinion earlier ... everything that is negative is true. We have been deceived. 56 € for a trip worth 1/3 of that price. A totally misunderstood explanation of the tour route. The person who caught us on the street said we would see the museum, the Sistine Chapel, Basilic of St. Peter and the gardens. We have not reached the last ones (maybe guide was to lazy to show it to us). And there wasn’t any lines. She told us also that we cant go inside city of Vatican because is too late (it was around 11:30). It was also a lie because last entry is till 16:00. People was asking why trip is that short... and answer was: you paid for shorter trip. Thats funny... longer will be 100€ or 150€ !? This tour operator is a liar, thief and uses aggressive marketing. Beware of him!

Esperienza negativa: We paid twice as much money to purchase Vatican “skip the line” tour, still had to wait in line 2 hours and may not even get in before it closes. Don’t waste your money on any of these tours, all con artists and a waste of money!!

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing tour with Fabiola who was an extremely informative guide and very pleasant. Zami was very helpful in arranging this tour with no wait time for the tickets. Recommended.

Esperienza negativa: Worst tour EVER!!! I would give zero stars if i could. The services purchased was a tour with skip the line passes with an expert English speaking guided tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and the Basilica. The tour was set to begin at 1530. We were escorted to a different office to begin the tour. Once we left the second office, a different representative escorted us to the Vatican where we waited for our "guide." I witnessed the representative ask 2 tour companies if we could join their group. The second one reluctantly said yes. Once we were handed off, we waited in the lobby another hour to begin the tour, which defeated the purpose of the skip the line tickets. Once the tour began, the guide was unintelligible and inaudible most of the time. We were promised a guide that spoke fluent English. We did not receive this service. Once we finished the rushed Vatican tour and arrived at the door of the Sistine Chapel, the tour guide collected the headphones and left the entire group. The guide told the group she would meet us at the exit. Once we arrived at the exit she was not there. We were ditched. We did not receive a guided tour of the Sistine Chapel or the Basilica. The tour was rushed and we were better off reading about the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Basilica online or touring on our own. NEVER AGAIN…Go with a reputable company. I went back to the company about the service and they told me there was nothing they could do I should dispute it with my Credit Card company. THATS EXACTLY WHAT I DID!!! Glad i did not give them cash.

Esperienza negativa: The worst tour guides in Italy. Ignore all other reviews unless they are 1 star and negative. Anything positive about this company are clearly affiliated with the company. It’s quite clear by reading the reviews that they aren’t authentic. Purchased the Vatican Guided Tour and lied about other company prices. We managed to go with them as we negotiated down to skip the line and start the guided tour which was an absolute nightmare. The tour guide spent over an hour and a half talking at the start where the pictures of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, out in the sun.. we left and walked through the Vatican ourselves as he was just talking and talking, and it was deafening. We were told other tour companies had groups of 40-50 and their tours would be max 20. Theirs was 50+ in the tour.. I will never ever go with this tour company again. Absolute scam! I can’t believe the tour guides sleep at night thinking they’re guides..

Esperienza negativa: 생각할 수록 별 한 개도 아까운 곳. 그냥 저번에도 이런 비슷한 가이드 받았어서 속는 셈 치고 가이드 들었는데, 설명은 뭐 그냥 나무위키 검색하면 다 나오는 수준이고 라파엘 방도 그냥 지나쳐서 아테네학당은 못 봤다. 바티칸 미술관의 대체 어느 부분을 가이드해줬는지 모르겠다. 사람이 많아서 어쩔 수 없겠지만 차라리 안 가는 게 나았을 지도. 성베드로성당으로 가면 이제 바티칸 미술관으로는 못 돌아가니 참고하시길. 그냥 바티칸과 이런 투어사의 유착관계에 진절머리가 남. 그리고 어머니가 영어 조금만 천천히 해 달라 하니 여기서 더 천천히 하면 사람들 졸리다고 말 한 가이드(이름 까먹음) 태도도 매우 실망스러웠다. 그럴거면 애초에 왜 영어 잘 하냐고 물어보는지..? 직원들 관광객 한 철 돈 뽕뽑아먹고 먹튀하려는 꼴 너무 싫다.

Esperienza fantastica: Very informative tour from Fabiola and very funny too!

Esperienza negativa: Was told we'd get inside in 5 minutes. It has now been close to an hour and a half and we're still waiting to get in. Not entirely sure what is holding us up because the group is so big I can't hear the guide. We were supposed to get head sets half an hour ago but they haven't shown up either.

Esperienza fantastica: The tour started with a detailed explanation by Mr.Zami of the contents of the tour. Must say that he helped us not only in understanding the place better but also gave us tips on nice eateries and bus stops which we desparately needed. Zami came across as a professional with his expertise in managing tourists.

Esperienza fantastica: We went to Vatican tour with veniero tours it was great and we recommend this to everyone especially Sami was a great help.

Esperienza negativa: ESTAFA! Una verdadera estafa. Nos cobraron 42€ diciendo que nos estaban haciendo muchisimo descuento. No enseñan la basílica y los museos vaticanos a toda prisa. Fuimos a reclamar con la POLICIA y ni aún así nos devolvieron el dinero que nos cobraron de más.

Esperienza negativa: If I can give zero stars I would. Horribly miss leading sales tactics... telling us they will take us to the Bascilica’s dome(top level) with a fast pass or whatever it is called and when the tour actually starts telling us we have to pay for it... and ditching us. There were 7 people in the tour that got ditched. Even then the tour was only at the most an hour. Sped through the museum.... saw like two rooms. And when I went back to the office to tell them what happened, they were blaming it on us that we didn’t follow instructions.... could not understand a thing the tour guide was saying with his thick thick accent. And he was basically reading the descriptions.... They don’t have good service, neither is a good company. They just want to make more money.. All these positive reviews are probably fake.. so please becareful

Esperienza negativa: Very disappointed in the aggressive and misleading marketing, I made the mistake of listening to a street salesman who led me here. She (and the lady in the office) lied about the original cost to get in saying it was 30-40 euro for me to enter just with audioguide (when it was actually 15 for a student, vs 46 she was offering) and she pointed to the "huge 1 hour" lines which were imaginary, at 1.30 I walked straight in. Don't believe a word these people say.

Esperienza negativa: We were charged an additional 10 euro prior to the tour and advised the tour has less than 12 participants as our tour was a VIP tour rather than a regular tour. The initial personnel we met on the street dishonest and initially claimed that she was independent rather than advising that she worked for a tour company. The tour started with approximately 44 participants. Unethical business as far as we are concerned..

Esperienza fantastica: It was great, all the staff of the company very positive. I have been spent 3 hours time with Excellent English speaking & huge knowledgeable guide mr.vincenzo, I am strongly recommend VENIERO Tours For Vatican visit.

Esperienza negativa: Lots of money for a very short tour. The guide, Vicente, spoke bad Spanish and didn't basically say anything interesting, except rambling about Michelangelo being a genius. They made us jump the queue, but that didn't seem very long anyway. Oh well, scams can happen. Avoid.

Esperienza positiva: We had a wonderful and informative tour from Fabiola. She know her history like the back of her hand. Great personal interaction although the group was large. Absolutely love it.

Esperienza negativa: An absolute rip off. Pose as tourist information but they are just sleazy salesmen. Don't believe anything they say. Told us our tickets wouldn't get us into St Peter's Basilica, not only do they but it's also free! Hope this rating and review helps unsuspecting tourist to save themself wasting their time and money.

Esperienza negativa: IN TOTAL YOU WAIT FOR 2,5 HOURS BEFORE THE TOUR STARTS They catch you and drag you to the office take ur money before u enter the office and they tell you that u have to wait till the next toor thats an hour or so, then they make you walk again to another office to print some papers and make u wait IN TOTAL YOU WAIT FOR 2,5 HOURS BEFORE THE TOUR STARTS, and you will be with 30-35-38 other people in the group which makes it annoying and hard to move around. VERY BAD CHOICE

Esperienza negativa: Si pueden vayan a otra compañía distinta. Nuestra visita al Vaticano fue horrenda, no nos enseñaron la basílica De San Pedro y ni siquiera nos la explicaron. Nada recomendable

Esperienza fantastica: It was a really great experience to join this Tour Company. The Hello Tours staff is very helpful to us. Where we booked Vatican and Colloseum together and it was really informative and we did all skip the line when it was seems really I am a VIP. Thanks to Marco who is very informative and very good guide. Don't forget to take this tour if anybody go to the Vatican.

Esperienza negativa: Only positives with Vatican tour is that we queued for just over an over instead of the 3 hour queue and haggling will get cost down for you. Do not believe them or anyone when they tell you you will walk straight in via a 'special entrance'. It's just a shorter queue, but that was after standing at the office for an excessive time with no explanation. Guide lost us during walk and I had to do half of the tour myself. Despite everyone going in same direction, they did not wait for those caught in the huge (and I mean the biggest I've ever seen) crowds and audio was lost as she got further away. With no head count taken I do not know if they were even aware that the group was not all together. Some people left earlier with the guide chasing them to get headsets back. We were meant to go to St Peter's directly after Vatican, but following the crowds, I ended up back outside and had to leave. Couldn't see anyone to give headset back to, but a useless headset is not the momento or memory of the Vatican I was hoping for. Went back to office to explain my frustration and was actually told, "What do you want us to do about it". Plenty of tours available. Avoid this one.

Esperienza negativa: Told there would be no more then 20 people and were over 70 in the group. We left after about an hour. Very hard to gear as need to be within range with the ear piece. Group took forever toto get anywhere as was too large and kept on waiting for others. Too many people around the vatican for a group of this size. Do not do this tour! Much better to just skip the mine yourself and go inside. Or wait in line as by the time this tour gets arranged you already have waited an hour before going to the vatican

Esperienza positiva: Good and nice Vatican tour. Prices are competitive. Tour guide "Maria" was nice and took 3 hours.

Esperienza negativa: 50 euros is way too steep. You do get to cut the lines somewhat, but we still had to wait a bit to get in. Getting in on your own costs 16 euros. The people telling you about the tours when you get to the vatican are all trying to get you on these things. Pay no attention to them if you just want to get into the museums on your own. The line starts at the northern part but the line could span towards the south. Some bad things about it: was told we would have a max of 20 people, that was wrong. The headphone listening device was poor quality and only get one ear bud. We had to stand in the sun while our guide explained the pictures on the board of the sistine chapel. The guide itself was short, there are much more things you can do if you leave your group right before entering the sistine chapel. I was trying to read the reviews for the place right before getting to it, but my Internet was not working so it could not load the place in time. If you don't care for guided tours which explain a bit about everything, don't get this. If you value a guided tour, it's still very expensive, but it's probably more worth it for you.

Esperienza positiva: Worthwhile - have realistic expectations - no one will appear in the middle of the Sistine Chapel in 15 mins. They did their best to get us the tickets on time, and kept what was arguably a sizeable group rather well-organised, furnished with clear explanations and useful information. Great way to skip the queue and have direct access to one of the world's treasures.

Esperienza negativa: Total ripoff. Don't let these people con you into a tour. We paid 50€ a ticket, was told it would help us skip the line but took just as long if not longer. Also, we were told it would be a small group and it wasn't. They guide spoke such broken English that it was pointless to follow the audio tour.

Esperienza fantastica: Estuvimos en el Vaticano el día 16 de Marzo, al principio la idea era verlo por nuestra cuenta (habíamos sacado las entradas por internet), pero al llegar allí y ver la cantidad de gente que había, decidimos contratar un tour guiado con esta empresa. Nos tocó de guía Linda, y fue una maravilla de visita,amena, ágil y parando en lo realmente importante. Me encantó. Mil gracias Linda, eres un encanto!

Esperienza negativa: Lamentable. Ofrecen (y cobran) por servicios que luego no dan. La visita a los museos ha sido más una carrera, no nos ha dejado ver nada y encima a la mitad de la visita el guía español se fue y se quedó una guía q solo hablaba en italiano

Esperienza negativa: Esta empresa es la estafa más grande jamás encontrada. Te venden una cosa que no es. Un tour guiado por el Vaticano y museos, además de la Basílica. Después de media dando vueltas de un lado hacia otro nos llevan con el guía, que ni se le escucha. Casi media hora en un patio para explicar una foto y luego 20 minutos por los museos a toda prisa, eso es el tour, sin ver ni decir nada más. Una verdadera vergüenza, teniendo en cuenta que decían que el tour era de 3 horas, pero no llego ni a una hora y por supuesto sin poder ver nada. Si quieren ahorrar dinero y no ser estafados compren la entrada y una audio guía, no contraten una empresa y mucho menos VENEIRO Tours.

Esperienza negativa: This campany were awsome and I will NEWER recoment this company to my worse enemy. We payd extra for a guided tour in the verticsn museum and after that we was told that we could go direct in to the basilica if we ran to the entrence. After waiting 1,5 hours we finaly got in the museum with a wery bat talking guide. Then ofcourse again we was late to get in the basilica. And we only saw 50% of the museum. I think this was robery. The Veniero tours are a conpany that should not exist... I would give them minus five stars if i could do that

Esperienza negativa: Not recommended! Totally not worth the price! They skipped many parts and the whole tour was in a rush. You can buy an audio guide for only 7 euros and take your time visiting.

Esperienza negativa: Agree mostly with last review. It is definately overpriced for 50 euros. You get headphones with wireless transfer of what the guide is saying. But sound quality (and english skills of the guide) were so bad we stopped listening. Also the guide rushed through the museum and mentioned hard facts and little context which made it uninteresting. I would advise to rent an audio guide instead. Also the sales person on the street lied to us by saying without a guide one has to wait on a line again to enter Peters Dome after Sixtine Chapel. That is not true, everyone can go straight in. All in all, NOT RECOMMENDED.

Esperienza negativa: Visita guiada a Museos Vaticanos, dos horas. Tras esperar en la calle media hora a la guía la visita consistió en: media hora para que el grupo de unos 50 entrase en el museo, otra media de charla frente a una pantalla, 15 minutos en un patio trasero para hacerse fotos, y 45 mn de corre! corre! por los museos, dejando de visitar zonas importantes como las Estancias de Rafael. NADA RECOMENDABLE!!!

Esperienza negativa: Terrible DO NOT USE!! They are the ones with the sales people heckling you on the street they will claim to have english speaking tour guides and small groups the reality is they have guides that barely speak english and the groups are 50 people so you cant hear or really even see anything. Its a total rip off.
