He organized everything including the private shuttle we needed and made sure everything went incredibly smoothly. He took us on a half-day adventure to spots like the Emerald Grotto and even a hidden thermal bath. He’s super friendly, made us feel totally at ease, and shared so much about Ischia and its history. When the weather looked questionable, he kept in touch and let us reschedule for a better day, which was such a relief. Spending a day out on the water with Mario is an absolute must if you’re visiting Ischia—and well worth it!

We went out on a day where we were slightly concerned with the wind and potential choppy waters, but this concern was quickly erased by the boat/captains ability to keep the ride smooth.

We were a group of 10, 3 families, vacationing together in Italy and we hired Mario to take us to Capri for the day also around the island of Ischia. They were so professional, welcoming, and took us to all the great spots. The first day they tailored our day to what we wanted for Capri and they surprised us with gems throughout the day. We loved it so much that we hired them for another full day to take us around the island of Ischia and to Procida nearby. They took us to thermal pools, grottos, secluded and private beaches and grottos. They shared the history, the highlights, and even played the best music! These boat days were the highlights of our entire trip! We highly recommend them. Mario was so wonderful that he even made us dinner reservations one night and that restaurant was amazing.

His service is top notch - from initial communication to arranging all parts of our day trip including transportation from our cruise ship to the town where the boat is docked and lunch reservations at a seaside table (which included a tender to the restaurant dock). We stopped at several swimming spots including a private beach and several sea caves. Both adults and kids had a blast! It was definitely the highlight of our trip.

It is worth every dime. Our arrival was not only non hectic and relaxing but just gorgeous views on the way over that made our trip/arrival special in every way. Our second day with Mario was a full day trip around the island. Again, the day was just amazing with seeing Ischia from every direction. The boat is clean and well stocked with everything you and friends will need for a day touring the islands swimming holes, coastal landscapes, and the Pirati restaurant for lunch. Esperienza fantastica: This was our second year in a row chartering a boat with Mario and Airbabo and had yet another incredible day. The new boat was stunning and spacious and we had everything that we could ask for, including towels, goggles, water toys, snacks, prosecco etc. Mario was the consummate tour guide and is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, whether it be on land or sea. We were with him for the full day and went around the whole island, stopping several times to swim in different areas, along with a visit to Procida and an amazing lunch. We will return to Ischia again next year and will not hesitate to let Mario know of our dates as soon as it is booked! I recommend Airbabo highly-- safe, professional and very good rates for an amazing day, time and time again. And, if you can have Mario as your Captain, and Luigi as his first mate, even better! For reference, my review from August 2022: We had the most amazing day today with Mario on our Airbabo boat charter! We spent the full day with him and saw more of the island and the area than we could ever have imagined, whilst still having the most relaxing time. We swam in the caves, basked in the thermal pools, had an incredible lunch and followed it up with the best gelato. I would highly recommend Mario and Airbabo and will most certainly be coming back to Ischia and will happily do the same all over again. Five stars plus!✨

Esperienza fantastica: What an amazing day! We had a day trip from Ischia to Capri. I really wanted to see Positano from the water so before we spent the day at Capri our captain Mario took us there. Mario was an amazing host, very hospitable, had lots of knowledge of our surrounding and sites and communicated well with us. We were a group of 7 and with us was my 1 year old baby. I felt safe the whole time and there was seats and shade for us all. I would highly recommend using this company and Mario. We will book again on our next visit.

The capitan of the boat took me and my husband from Ischia to visit Capri and Sorrento, showed us all the beautiful coast and gave us a lot of information about it. We had such a lovely time, and I suggest if you want a 5 start treat, that is the person to contact.
