Esperienza fantastica: We used Joe Banana Limos seven times during our recent tour of Italy, and I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. From airport and cruise port transfers to a full-day guided Amalfi Coast tour and a transfer from Rome to Sorrento with a stop in Pompeii, every experience was seamless, professional, and incredibly enjoyable. The guided tours of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast (visiting Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano) were true highlights of our trip — informative, well-paced, and absolutely breathtaking. Our standout driver was Catello, who handled four of our journeys. He was not only punctual, knowledgeable, and thoughtful — he also had a fantastic sense of humour that made every trip entertaining and memorable. We genuinely looked forward to seeing him each time! Behind the scenes, Nunzia was a superstar — helping to coordinate all our bookings and remaining available even outside business hours to answer questions and make adjustments. Her attention to detail and friendly communication made the planning process stress-free. A special thank you as well to the team for going above and beyond to return a jacket we accidentally left in one of the vehicles. That level of service is rare! Joe Banana Limos deserves five stars all the way. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again!
Esperienza fantastica: I worked with Joe Banana Limos to transfer myself and my in-laws to/from Naples and the Amalfi Coast, with a guided stop in Pompeii in one direction. The reservations team and drivers were all extremely professional, prompt and generous with their knowledge about the area. The guided tour of Pompeii (organized by Joe Banana) was a highlight of the trip; our guide Chiro was fantastic and extremely knowledgable. We learned so much in just 3 hours. Esperienza fantastica: Can’t say enough wonderful things about our day trip with Giulio our driver to tour the Amalfi Coast! He provided a local’s perspective on this beautiful special region of Italy! We were picked up in a wondeful Mercedes Van that was like stepping into a living room, just beautiful! We made an early stop for some espresso and pastry, visited a local church and then off to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello with many nice stops along the way. A perfect day indeed!!

Esperienza fantastica: We used Joe Banana for 2 consecutive days and the experience exceeded expectations. Anna was very helpful with setting up our itinerary and also followed up with us at the end of our trip to ensure the experience went smoothly. It was great to be able to transport our luggage with us in the cool and comfortable van. On the first day we had an exceptional experience with our driver Julio along the Amalfi Coast. From the start, he was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Julio’s knowledge of the area, its history, and culture, along with his local tips, really enhanced our trip. He handled the coastal roads with ease, allowing us to sit back and enjoy the incredible views. Julio even took us to some lesser-known spots that gave us a more authentic feel for the region. He allowed us to enjoy the areas without feeling rushed. He was professional, punctual, and friendly the entire day. The second day, we were picked up from our Hotel in Sorrento by our driver, Catello, and driven to Pompeii. When we arrived, Catello ensured we found our tour guide, Claudia, without any issues. Joe Banana helped setup our tour with Claudia and she was so knowledgeable and able to answer every question we had about Pompeii. Afterwards, Catello drove us to Herculaneum and made sure we made our train at Naples train station on time. He was very professional and kind. All of our Joe Banana experiences were superb and we would encourage anyone looking for an authentic Italy experience to book with their services.

Esperienza fantastica: We booked the 50 Shades of Lemon tour of the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento with JB. Chiara quick to return my enquiry email and great communication throughout. What a perfect day with stops at Positano,Ravello and Amalfi if we wanted with 2hrs for the most delicious lunch and limoncello making at Le Bonta del Capo. Stunning scenery. Our driver for the day was Daniele and nothing was a problem. He was a fun guy,filled with information and his driving was exceptional. Esperienza fantastica: Traveling to Italy can be both exciting and intimidating. Joe Banana took the guesswork out and created a dream vacation for my family of four. From what parts of Italy to explore based on our goals, to the right hotel, to the perfect excursions. They are local so we even had insight to the best (and non touristy) restaurants. Another service was transfers—all were included…we had a private driver the entire time-from pick up at airport to restaurants in the evening. What was super helpful was the ability to text our Anbassador 24/7 for advice on anything before and during our stay. Made itinerary changes last minute to enhance our experience! Esperienza fantastica: Absolutely excellent business. We used them for our wedding transport for guests. We had a bus from Sorrento and one from Vico to a very difficult location on top of a mountain and they accommodated this with extra transportation and shuttles of smaller vehicles up the mountain pass. Esperienza fantastica: This trip was absolutely incredible. I went from traveling in a group to traveling alone last minute. I was nervous how the experience would be, but it was a wonderful day. Angelo picked my up, and was my driver all day. He was timely, great in conversation, provided some wonderful food recommendations, and even showed me some additional views of the bay of Naples. At every location he made sure I was well taken care of, and that I got where I needed to be. The tour guide that the company set up also provided a wholistic experience at Herculaneum, and Pompeii. If you are very active, have a full day to burn, love history, and don’t mind doing some hiking/walking this package is wonderful! Hopefully you get Angelo to really take your day from a 10/10 to a 11/10.

Esperienza fantastica: I booked a day trip to Sorrento, Ravello and Positano from Naples and was lucky enough to get Catello B. as our driver. It was the last day of our trip and we had a wonderful time with Catello. He had us laughing all day with his stories, the day just flew by and we felt like he was an old buddy. Esperienza fantastica: I arranged two transfers through Joe Banana, one from Citavecchia Port to our hotel in Rome, and then a separate day from the hotel to Rome Airport (FCO). Our driver was wonderful. The day we arrived at the port, there was a special event and politicians, military and crowds were there. Our driver arrived early and sent us a photo of where she was, so we could find her in the mob. So helpful. I will use Joe Banana again next time I am in Italy.

Esperienza fantastica: We just returned from our Mediterranean Cruise and stay in Sorrento Italy. Anna L. was our trip Ambassador and did an Excellent job. From the start, she was able to work with me to customize our trip for my husband's 60th birthday. We used Joe Banana for a cruise port excursion from La Spezia Italy! Francesco was our driver and gave us a wonderful drive to Pisa, Lucca and Forte De Marme! He was very prompt, courteous, and very informative. We then disembarked our ship in Rome and were met by Guisseppe! Another professional driver who gave us a quick overview of Rome, seeing all of the main sights, and then driving us to Naples for a Pizza lunch and then on to Sorrento for our 5 day stay there. In Sorrento we did a full day of the Amalfi Coast with Jessica to see Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano! One of my favorites! Anna made sure to call the drivers and actually speak with us to make sure all was going well, and to confirm our excursions for the next day, etc. We did have a private boat tour to capri scheduled, however, due to weather we were unable to go out. Disappointing, but Anna called as soon as she heard from the captain. She was not even in the office yet. Our final excursion with Joe Banana was a Mozzarella making tour, Pizza making and Olive Oil Tasting. We were so very happy with everything and Donelo was our final driver. What an awesome guy! Very funny, informative and also a great photographer! The Mozzarella making was awesome, we loved meeting Angela and Antonio and felt like they welcomed us into their home. We also learned so much from them and of course enjoyed the cheese, wine and company in their beautiful garden! Donelo then got us to Naples airport for our trip home! I am a very organized planner for our vacations, and Anna was an Awesome help in coordinating all of the things we wanted to do and I cannot express enough how wonderful it was that she communicated with us daily on all of our excursions and made sure we were happy! Esperienza fantastica: We chose Joe Banana for our trip to Italy to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. From the beginning stages of planning, to communication before our arrival Joe Banana and our travel ambassador Anna went above and beyond. Restaurant reservations were booked and any questions we had concerning the trip were answered in detail and in a timely manner. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the airport and promptly taken to our accomodations. Our English speaking guides were fantastic and knowledgeable And all of our tours and stops (Balsamic vinegar and cooking experience) were amazing. Our driver, Giuseppe, was fantastic. He was safe, courteous, knowledgeable of our route, and flexible to make changes if needed. On our last night in Italy, our anniversary, we had a late dinner reservation and he offered to take and return us back to the hotel. This was on top of spending the whole day driving us around Rome. It really made our evening that he was willing to do that since we did not have to worry about figuring out how to get there and back. I would not hesitate to recommend using Joe Banana for your trip to Italy and if you are in the capable hands of Anna as your trip ambassador and have Giuseppe as your driver, your trip will be worry free!

Esperienza fantastica: This review is long overdue! So first of all my apologies to Paulo(the funniest and interesting tour guide we’ve ever had) for writing this so late. Joe Banana probably already knows how good he is but we wanted to share our experience. We did 2 tours with Joe Banana Limos. Both were equally amazing as they went to different places. We did them at Napoli & Livorno, both cruise ports. Someone on our ship organized the tours and opened them to guests on our ship thru Facebook. After reading reviews we decided to risk it as we knew we weren’t big ship tour people. We couldn’t have been happier. None of us knew each other but the guide in each case made us all feel like friends by the end. We did them both in May 2023 & here in November as I write this I wish I was back there again. Our guide in Livorno was very good, he made great suggestions and explained how to get on ferry or train at each location & what that part would look like then let us decide what we wanted. He tailored our trip to us. He also did the trip opposite of what big tour companies do to avoid traffic as much as possible. We saw Pisa & Cinque Terre. Such beautiful places. Paulo & his driver in Napoli blew us out of the water with their knowledge, wit, humor, amazing driving, planning and experiences. We saw Sorrento, Pompeii & the Amalfi coast in a way that avoided most big tour busses. But the biggest point is that Paulo arranged for a private lunch at an amazing restaurant up in the mountains that wasn’t open to anyone but us! The food was made fresh and brought to our table exactly when it was ready, we could even watch the chef, the views, wine , Limoncello, food and wine were the spectacular. These experiences with Joe Banana still bring a big smile to my face. We’re currently trying to plan a trip with our kids and parents back to the area and I’m hoping we can tour with Paulo at Joe Banana again, we’ve bragged about this experience to everyone and they all want to come to Italy because of it! Esperienza fantastica: We recently had the pleasure of using Joe Banana Limo Service for our Naples-Sorrento transfers and full day tour along the Amalfi Coast, and it was an experience we'll never forget! Our first encounter was with Stefano, who picked us up from the Naples Train Station in a spacious luxury van that comfortably accommodated our family of five adults and all our luggage. Stefano's vibrant personality set the tone for our trip. He even stopped at a factory called Limoncello di Capri, where we watched the bottling process, sampled and picked up some souvenirs. Upon reaching our Airbnb, Stefano's enthusiasm was infectious as he helped us with our bags. The following day, we had a full-day drive down the Amalfi Coast with Bruno. He arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. and took us on an unforgettable tour through Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi. Each stop was a feast for the senses—beautiful views, charming shops, and the unique atmosphere of the coast. In Ravello, Bruno recommended a restaurant at the Graal Hotel that offered not just delicious food but also a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. Bruno was the perfect guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great recommendations. Forget the song; we'll always be talking about Bruno! Our last transfer was from our Sorrento Airbnb back to the train station, with a detour to Pompeii. This time, Peppe was our driver. He was equally friendly and efficient, helping us with our ever-growing luggage. He had tickets ready for us to explore Pompeii, making the visit seamless. What stood out about Joe Banana was not just the professionalism and friendliness of the drivers but also the exceptional customer service. Esperienza fantastica: I had two transfers arranged on different days for family the vehicles were excellent our driver was very efficient on getting us to our hotel and my daughters driver was just amazing she was on a later flight the following day which for them first time to Sorrento turned into a history lesson which my daughter loved and being able to talk about Italian film which she studied at university with her driver he also stopped allowing them to get some photos of the sun set so she had a fabulous induction to Sorrento and their hospitality. The communication between us was fantastic before, during and after to check that everything went smoothly. Not a day goes bye that I don’t find myself viewing our family photos and numerous videos. However, our trip would not be complete without mentioning our driver, ROBERTO from JOE BANANAS GROUP. He was absolutely amazing!!! Our day began in Sorrento when our private driver, Roberto picked us up at our hotel and spent the day touring the fabulous AMALFI COAST; Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Roberto knew all the stops to shop, iconic photo spots, restaurants, and area highlights. As you were driving with Roberto, which by the way that same day was his birthday you felt very relaxed and gave us nonstop communication of area history, Italian culture and eye dropping scenery along our ride. From the moment we met him you felt immediately connected to his charismatic, outgoing and jovial personality. What a job he did for us he went above and beyond our expectations of a driver and tour aficionado! We were traveling with my handicap dad and he was always looking out for his comfort and happiness and many occasions seen pushing his wheelchair up steep incline in Ravello to singing Italian songs and just laughing with us and having a grand olde time!! We didn’t want the day to end nor him to leave and celebrate his birthday with his family. We all made a lifetime friend in SORRENTO. My dad even invited Roberto to stay with us in New York should he and his family ever visit our country. I mistakenly left some Amalfi prints in Roberto’s car and he gladly returned them to me at my hotel the following day. I must admit it was a pleasure seeing him again as we had another opportunity to say goodbye to a good friend. Esperienza fantastica: First I must thank my friend R... for recommending Joe Banana to me. She highly recommended this tour company to me as she used them on her Italy trip a few years ago. Living in the U.S. and arranging our tours for our trip over the phone to Italy I felt a bit unsure. Then ..Milena picked up the phone. How lucky we were as her English is great and she was truly wonderful in helping my friend and I arrange our private pick up at the airport in Rome to Sorrento, our tours to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Capri boat tour, Pompeii and then again, transfer to airport. Not only that, during our tours, Milena (our guest ambassador) always called us to make sure all was fine. She was there from beginning to end .. no other tour company (I traveled all over the world) has ever been so committed to making sure we (3 couples) were pleased.,,and we were! The limos Joe Banana uses are clean, spacious, and comfortable with air conditioning! All the drivers were friendly and personable. Also, importantly they know how to drive on the coast ...with patience and carefully! A special shout out to Bruno who we were lucky enough to use on a few trips. He became one of us ..a good friend. Esperienza fantastica: We used Joe bananas for four separate activities. First was a transfer from the Naples train station with a guided tour in Pompeii to Positano. Second was an eight hour boat tour around the Amalfi coast. Third, was a transfer to the start of the path of the gods. Forth was a transfer back to the train station. I got several quotes and they were very reasonably priced in comparison. Nunzia who we dealt with on the reservations, was extremely responsive and helpful.Nick, our first driver, was the best and gave us the lay of the land. All the drivers and guides were amazing. I was really pleased we used their service and it was worth the extra money to have this care during a very crowded season on the Amalfi coast.

Esperienza fantastica: We used the service 2x. Pick up in Naples with a stop in Pompeii as we continued to our Airbnb in Atrani. Then we had a transfer back to Rome 5 days later. There were 7 of us in our group so this was the easiest way for us to get around with all our luggage. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our driver, Stefano, and the Nunzia (back in the office). They stayed in constant contact the entire time, from the initial booking until the pick-up day. Stefano was an absolute delight. We expressed the fact that we would love to get lunch after our Pompeii tour, when we met up with him he had a table ready for us at a nearby restaurant! There was an issue with contacting our Airbnb host when we reached Atrani, he immediately stepped in with the help of his office and got us squared away! Our return trip to Rome we had Stefano again and for 3 hours or so we talked, laughed and had a great trip back to the city. It was a wonderful experience and worth the money and stress free!

Esperienza fantastica: Once again we used Joe Banana for our travel and touring, and once again they have proven absolutely amazing. Our driver this trip, Gino, was timely, professional, and friendly. We arranged a custom tour from Florence to Pisa, Poggio Capponi Fattorio, and back, and Joe Banana did not disappoint. Our travel coordinator Anna called us during the tour and afterwards to check up on us. So kind. The vehicle was a luxury Mercedes van, while our driver was safe and courteous. Communications with our driver Gino concerning drop off and pick up spots was well executed, and the local advice given excellent. Our driver even surprised us with an impromptu stop at the American Cemetery and Memorial in Florence after we had casually mentioned my prior US Army service, and he personally knew the director of the cemetery. We plan to use Joe Banana twice more on this trip, a transfer to Sorrento and private tour of Herculaneum. I highly recommend Joe Banana for all your transfer and touring needs!

Esperienza fantastica: Our small family group (three adults and two older children) ended up doing three day tour/transfers with this company--a boat tour/transfer from Naples to Sorrento via Procida/Ischia, a boat tour on the Amalfi Coast, and a driving tour/transfer from the Amalfi Coast to Naples via Herculaneum and Mt Vesuvius. We could not recommend them more highly. The communication was excellent, and Maria C. in particular not only helped us figure out what to book, but then made sure everything went smoothly during our trips. Which ended up critical, as the day we had planned for our second trip (originally a boat tour/transfer from Capri to the Amalfi Coast), the seas were very rough and it made no sense to try to do the original tour plan. So Maria C. helped us change plans as the situation developed. Despite the conditions we could take a ferry from Capri to Sorrento, so Maria C. helped us swap over to a van transfer from Sorrento to our next place on the Amalfi Coast that day, and then rearranged the boat tour for a calmer day. Overall the value for our family was excellent when you consider we were combining tours and transfers. And of course if you are looking at this option, one of the things you are really hoping to get is a flexible, custom, low-stress experience that makes it easy to just relax and enjoy your vacation. That is exactly what we got from Joe Banana Limos and Maria C., and that makes it easy for us to recommend them to anyone looking for these sorts of services.

Esperienza fantastica: Our Joe Banana tour was fantastic. Milena arranged an amazing day for us visiting Pompei and Mt Vesuvius. Our driver, Stefano, was friendly, drove carefully and the vehicle was in great condition. Could not have asked for a better person to spend our day with. Our tour guide in Pompei was incredibly knowledgeable and interacted really well with our kids. The wine tasting / lunch spot that Milena arranged for us was great. We had a beautiful lunch on the mountain side and spent time chatting with the family who owned the vineyard. The trip to Vesuvius was beautiful. Lastly, I would highlight that the team was super accommodating. We somehow missed our train in the morning and arrived 2 hours late but the team scrambled to rearrange our day and it still turned out amazing!

Esperienza positiva: I booked a transfer from our accommodation in Positano to Naples airport. Initial communication was great and they even provided a map to show me where to meet the driver as Positano can be difficult for vehicles. When I arrived in Positano, my accommodation host suggested another location as the initial location involved us walking UP stairs with all our luggage. I emailed Joe Banana and they had no issues with the change. Unfortunately, when it came to pick-up day, the driver was no where to be found at the new location. The driver himself did however call me right on pick-up time and after I explained he headed straight to our location. Shortly after we also received a call from their office apologising for the miscommunication (I believe the office had forgotten to tell the driver about the location change). Due to the traffic in Positano, it took the driver more than 30minutes to get to us - in hindsight it would have been quicker just to walk up those stairs. HOWEVER, I had allowed plenty of time to get to the airport so I was not at all stressed or concerned. The driver was absolutely lovely and made our journey comfortable and quick, having a nice chat along the way, arriving with plenty of time to spare. I would 100% use Joe Banana limos next time I am in bella Italia! Thank you team for a great experience!

Truly amazing amazing service and communication all around, from the second I booked the reservation to the last drop off. My boyfriend and I booked Joe Banana for a transfer from Naples to Positano (and coming back) this past August, and it was truly a luxurious experience. Natalia and Maria (our guest ambassadors) even called us in the middle of the ride to and from to check up and ask how our drive was going, talk about amazing service! The rides were smooth and all the drivers were professional and phenomenal at navigating those windy roads. I compared a lot of transport services to get to Positano and I truly cannot recommend Joe Banana Limos enough, both for service and for price! Definitely book Joe Banana Limos for your next trip to Italy!!!

Esperienza fantastica: We spent the most amazing day with Bruno touring the Amalfi Coast on our Daughters birthday in October. We were in Naples for only one day on our cruise, and Bruno was waiting for us right as we got off of the ship. We knew immediately upon meeting Bruno that we were going to have the best day ever. Bruno knew the way to avoid traffic and took us to Amalfi first so that we could maximize our time in each town. On the way to Amalfi, we stopped at a wonderful coffee shop where we got a delicious cappuccino and bought some wine to take home with us. At each stop, Bruno gave us time to head into the towns to shop and snack. We absolutely loved each town, and having Bruno as our guide was such an unexpected treat. He felt like family by the end of the day. On our last stop in Sorrento, Bruno arranged lunch for us at Donna Sophia. I would have never discovered this place on my own. Our meal was the best that we had the whole time in Europe. And as we were leaving, Bruno surprised my daughter with a Birthday cake and song in the private wine cellar at the restaurant. This was so touching and sweet, the kindness that Bruno showed us was just magical. I will be telling all of my friends about Bruno and this day. My next trip to Italy will be planned around seeing Bruno and spending another amazing day in his care!

Esperienza fantastica: Cannot recommend this company enough. We used them twice while in Italy for transfers and both times they were amazing in every aspect. They contacted us before the trips to confirm arrangements and see if we needed anything, they showed up on time, the cars were very nice, and the drivers were the best. Esperienza fantastica: What an incredible day! Picked up and dropped back to our accommodation, no stress at all... we were able to relax and just enjoy! We started with a private tour of Pompeii with the amazingly information & hilarious Pier Paulo... who not only brings Pompeii to life but takes the most amazing photos for you! Then off with Nicco for the rest of the day... showing us the towns along the Amalfi Coast scenic road as well as taking us to a beautiful restaurant in a small quiet town with gorgeous view and delicious food! As a family of 3- 2 adults and 1 teen, we highly recommend this tour / tour company and would definitely book with Joe Bananas again!

Esperienza fantastica: July 2022 - Excellent service. When we got off the train in Naples (family of 6) the driver was there to meet us, very friendly and drove us to our hotel in Sorrento. A different driver picked us up at the end of our stay and returned us to a hotel in Naples before our flight home. He was amazing, lots of information on the drive and great guy. Esperienza fantastica: Had an excellent transfer with Joe Banana. We booked a return transfer from Napoli to Sorrento. We later added a stop in Pompeii with a 2 hour guided tour and they were very helpful. Our driver, Rafael, was so great! Very friendly and shared many tips and information as we drove. The Pompeii tour was also amazing. Our tour guide, Paulo, was very knowledgeable and personable. We had so much fun and 2hours went very quickly but was enough to get the highlights. Our return transfer was also prompt, even though they mentioned the driver who was meant to pick us up had mechanical issues, they had another driver there within 5 minutes so we were not delayed and got to Napoli on time. We would absolutely use Joe Banana again and recommend for anyone travelling !

Esperienza negativa: We booked a private tour of Cinque Terre while visiting Florence on a cruise ship. The day before our scheduled tour my 11 year old son got very ill with severe stomach pain during a tour of Herculaneum. At his doctor's recommendation I messaged Joe Banana and notified them we needed to cancel our tour the following day so my son could rest and re-hydrate. Milena said we would need to send them a doctor's note so they could file an insurance claim. We sent them a note from the doctor several days later, but did not receive a response. The charges were still on our credit card so we filed a dispute. I sent another email asking if they needed additional information. They eventually responded with "since you filed a dispute, we'll see how that plays out". Touring Cinque Terre was something we were looking forward to and would never have canceled if our son had not become ill. We notified them as soon as possible, and they stated if we provided a doctors note we would be refunded. Yet, that was not the case. We travel frequently and use private tour companies 99% of the time and have never had an experience like this one. In hindsight, the company should be glad we canceled, as two days later I became ill and tested positive for COVID, so we could have inadvertently infected their driver as well. My biggest issue is for them to go back on their word, after we provided the doctor's note. In my opinion, that's not the way to treat customers.

We would like to point out that we always find a compromise regarding cancellations with our guests regardless to our cancellation policies.
We kindly asked you to send us the medical certificate, which you sent to us two days later without any specific date, and unfortunately it is not considered valid for a refund, nevertheless we wanted to proceed with your refund especially because the policy issued by our company is “A happy guests today is a potential guest tomorrow”.
We then received the dispute and from that moment on it was no longer up to us to decide, but up to our bank institution, which also proved us right in the end.

Esperienza fantastica: We booked several different experiences with Joe Banana during our trip in May 2022, and we had the best time! I cannot say enough good things about JB and all the wonderful people that work there. The headline is we will definitely be back again on our next vacation to Italy – the service was excellent, everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices were very competitive! Cindy helped us to plan our various activities/transfers, and was so accommodating with our desire to personalize each day. The support staff was there checking in with us as our trip to Positano got closer, and helped to make sure everything was going smoothly and even rescheduled one experience when it seemed like the weather / ocean conditions would be better on another day than the one we booked. We first had a transfer from Rome to Positano with Bruno. He was such a great, friendly guy and had so much knowledge about the region - we learned a ton just on our drive! Then as part of our transfer, we did a private guided tour at Pompeii with Romolo who gave us a fantastic overview of the city and what it was like in its prime. We finished the afternoon doing a wine tasting and lunch at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius. Our next experience was a day boat tour up the Amalfi Coast and over to Capri. Our skipper Salvatore was so kind, fun, and helped us find great swim spots and some awesome views of the coast and island. We would highly, highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. And we got to try some limoncello out on the ocean! Finally, our last day of our vacation in Italy was our transfer from Positano to the Naples Airport, but we made the most of it. Our driver Nick was also excellent and very conversational with a lot of history to share about the city of Naples. We had another private guided tour of the Naples Archeological Museum with Maria, where we got to see many of the artifacts that were excavated from Pompeii. Maria and Romolo's tours really brought the place of Pompeii to life for us. Then we finished up our day with some excellent Naples pizza at Sorbillo. Thank you JB! Can’t wait to come back!

Esperienza fantastica: Had a great day with Antonio on a tour of Positano, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii picked us up on time at our apartment in Sorrento taking us through the beautiful landscape stopping at various stops along the way to take in the view, to take pictures and making a great recommendation for lunch at Cumpa Cosimo in Ravello. Our last stop on the tour was of Pompeii with a local guide Cinzia Davide (Cindy)who was very knowledgeable about the history where we learned so much!
