Συνδύασα δύο εκδρομές που προσφέρει το γραφείο: την AUTOBUS PANORAMICO CATANIA - NICOLOSI - ETNA, που με πήγε μέχρι το καταφύγιο Sapienza, και τη FUNIVIA + 4X4 + ALPINE GUIDE (Priority Pass), για να συνεχίσω την ανάβαση. Είχα κάνει την κράτηση online, αλλά πριν την εκδρομή πέρασα και από το γραφείο, όπου μου εξήγησαν με κάθε λεπτομέρεια τι να περιμένω και μου έδωσαν χρήσιμες οδηγίες. Όλα ήταν άψογα οργανωμένα, το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και η συνολική εμπειρία πραγματικά μοναδική. Το προτείνω 100%!

Esperienza fantastica: We have just participated in a great event with Excursions Etna Sicily Touring. The first nice experience we had a day before with Natalie in the office situated comfortably close to Duomo in Katania. She informed us thoroughly on all possible options and finally we chose the best. Today at 9 am we started our adventure and met a very professional and charming guide - Thomas. He is a guide with countless years of experience and it shows. He was not only considerate of our grandma but all of our group of 5. We have managed to climbe 3 craters and had a lot of fun with snow and interesting stories about geology of the Etna volcano. We were also nicely surprised with a lunch and tasting wine. All the event took us approximately 6 hours. We strongly recommend the company and Thomas not only because of hospitality but also professionalism. Na pewno na długo zostaną w pamięci. Dodatkowo zorganizował transport do Milzzano! Esperienza fantastica: Una giornata indimenticabile! Ho scelto questo tour su consiglio di parenti siciliani e come regalo di compleanno per mio marito e ha assolutamente superato le aspettative. La guida Thomas ci ha accompagnati/e per tutto il giorno e ha reso la passeggiata dell'Etna una preziosa lezione sul vulcano e il territorio circostante che non dimenticheremo mai. From the beginning, our guide, Thomas, demonstrated an in-depth knowledge and a contagious passion for this majestic volcano and the surrounding area. The ascent up to 2200 meters was an exciting adventure filled with breathtaking views that will remain etched in my memory forever. But the experience was not limited to just the excursion on Etna. Thomas led us through a path that included visiting a fascinating cave, where we could closely admire the geological wonders of the volcano. Esperienza fantastica: Grazie a Roberto, la nostra guida abbiamo vissuto una bellissima esperienza sull'Etna, posto meraviglioso che merita sicuramente una visita. Come già scritto in altre recensioni è vero che il posto è facilmente visitabile anche in autonomia, però viverla con le spiegazioni di una persona esperta permette di apprezzare molto di più questo spettacolo della Natura e comprenderne le peculiarità, grazie alla passione e alla competenza di Roberto ancora di più!

Esperienza fantastica: Schöne Tour von Catania Centro auf den Ätna zur Seilbahnbasis mit englischen Erläuterungen zu diesem&jenem durch den aufmerksamen und sympathischen Guide-Fahrer unterwegs. (Durch Strassengewirr und chaotischen Stadtverkehr). Wir waren nur 2 Gäste an Bord. Leider tats die Seilbahn nicht wg. des aktuellen Ausbruchs. Wir erkundeten einige kleinere Krater auf 2200 m Höhe zu Fuß, picknickten und genossen tolle Lavafelderein- und Ausblicke. Wenig andere Touris. Dann kutschierte er uns müde "ahl Lück" wieder zurück.

Esperienza positiva: The trip was great! But they neglected to tell us it was going to be cold 45 degrees (wind chill 43 and colder at the top) at Mount Etnea. More than half of the passengers were totally unprepared. Some even had shorts on.

Esperienza fantastica: We took the sunset tour and it was amazing. Mario is such a charismatic and knowledgeable guide, a true joy to have him show us around. The experience was great!

The places we went to can be reached if you're on your own as well. I wish we had the time to take the cable car further up the mountain. In retrospect, we should have taken the full tour.

Esperienza positiva: Die Bus-Tour um 11.20Uhr kann ich nicht empfehlen. Das Busunternehmen welches für die Agentur fährt arbeitet noch ohne Internet, so dass unsere Reservierung nicht angekommen ist. Gleichzeitig verkauft dass Busunternehmen jedoch die Tickets auf der Straße in der Nähe der Haltestelle, so dass 30 Minuten vor der Tour unsere bezahlten und reservierten Tickets nicht mehr verfügbar waren. Als Ersatz wurde uns vom Busunternehmen denn eine VAN-Tour angeboten, in einem VAN wo so einiges nicht mehr in Ordnung war, der Fahrer telefonierte die ganze Zeit und fuhr sehr aggressiv, besonders auf dem Rückweg, so dass uns allen schlecht geworden ist und sich eine Person übergeben musste. Anhalten auf Wunsch wurde vom Fahrer ignoriert, er konnte denn auf einmal kein Englisch mehr. Also BITTE keine Ersatzangebote annehmen vom Busunternehmen!!! Die Agentur an sich arbeitet aber vertrauensvoll und ist ehrlich, vielleicht sollte sie lieber mit den gelben Busse Touren anbieten???

Esperienza negativa: We booked the Morning Etna Tour with the guide Roberto. It was promised to us that we will get to see 2 craters, 1 cave, 2 villages and to get some samples of traditional Sicilian food. We got up to the first crater (very basic tour, with the knowledge of the Wikipedia), and after about an hour of walking up to the second crater, our guide decided that we have to return back to Catania immediately. We asked for refund but he said that we had seen everything and the excursion is completed. He drove nuts back to the Catania, honking and passing everyone agressively on the roads. We are very disappointed with the low effort that was put into the excursion, defenitely not worth 59€.

Esperienza fantastica: Excursion à l'Etna fait ce matin avec un super guide ! À l'heure, dans un véhicule climatisé. Roberto nous a tout expliqué dans un très bon anglais. Nous avons appris plein de choses sur le volcan. Excursion très bien organisée où nous avons pu voir cratères et grottes de lave. En prime nous avons eu un déjeuner avec des spécialités locales, un régal !

Esperienza fantastica: One of the best guided tours I have ever been on. Mario was so kind and I learned more about volcanoes than I ever did in school. Along with the tour we had a lovely wine tasting, also fabulous. We look forward to coming back and having Mario take us on more tours.

Esperienza fantastica: Wir haben die Ätna Weintour gemacht. Mario hat die Tour sehr individuell gehalten und versucht weg von den anderen Gruppen zu laufen. Mit den richtigen Schuhen war die Tour sehr eindrucksvoll. Er hat nicht einfach nur etwas über den Ätna erzählt, sondern regelrecht für ihn geschwärmt. Ich habe noch nie so viel über einen Vulkan gehört. Es hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht ihm zuzuhören. Der krönende Abschluss war der Stopp auf dem Weingut Gamberio Vino. Alle Weine waren excellent, trocken aber sehr fruchtig. Wir duften uns sogar nachschenken. Das Essen war üppig und auch hier konnten wir nachbestellen. Ein toller und freundlicher Service. Ich würde immer wieder eine Tour bei dieser Firma buchen, da es keine Massentourismus ist, sondern kleine individuelle Gruppen.

Esperienza negativa: Un'esperienza davvero molto deludente. Avevo letto diverse recensioni positive e da Roma siamo partiti, io e il mio ragazzo, con aspettative forse troppo alte. Questo era il programma: 1) Visita dei Crateri Silvestri a quota 2000 mt. 2) Visita di una grotta di scorrimento lavico ( caschetti e torce in dotazione) 3) Visita della “Valle del Bove” 4) Visita della famosa colata lavica del 1991/93 che raggiunse le porte del paese di Zafferana Etnea 5) Degustazione di prodotti tipici in azienda locale presso Zafferana Etnea Le uniche cose fatte sono state il punto 1 e il punto 5. Il punto 1 in realtà era portarci ad un parcheggio (che potete arrivarci da soli con la vostra macchina) e fare una mini passeggiata intorno a dei crateri con una spiegazione minima, da Wikipedia, in inglese (essendo sei di noi stranieri). Insomma un bello SCAM come direbbero i giovani, una bella truffa, una bella fregatura. 55 euro di tour (con un supplemento di 4 euro a testa per il rincaro sulla benzina) per fare due cose. La guida si è giustificata che il resto delle cose non si è potuto fare a causa della neve ma ho visto gente con il caschetto scendere nelle grotte (ipotizzo che questi caschetti non li avesse neanche con sé la nostra guida). Neanche uno sconto, niente di niente. 59 euro a capa così, per portarci ad un parcheggio e ad una degustazione imbarazzante, tornando anche prima del dovuto. Non lo consiglio a nessuno. Affittatevi una macchina piuttosto o scegliete altri tour, come per esempio GO ETNA che effettivamente aveva 2000 e passa recensioni positive, non 25 come questo, peccato che per noi era difficile raggiungere il punto di incontro. Non fatevi SCAMMARE come noi.

Esperienza fantastica: We did an excursion up in Etna mountain with Fabio. He drove us safely and carefully up and down the mountain despite the snow. He also had so many information to share with us being himself a geologist. Very environmental respectful and an excellent guide! We will surely visit again in spring or summer to see the volcano without the snow! Saluti dalla Grecia! ✌️

Esperienza positiva: L'agence n'est pas ouverte aux horaires indiquées. La personne arrive plutôt 9h30 - 10h. Notre excursion devait commencer à 8h30 mais notre guide est arrivé qu'à 10h00 suite un problème d'organisation de la part de l'agence. Cependant nous avons apprécié le tour et Mario notre guide est un vrai passionné très sympathique qui nous a appris beaucoup de choses sur le volcan.

Esperienza fantastica: Je recommande à 200% cette agence et particulièrement Mario qui a été un super guide ! Mario est un passionné, a su nous accompagner avec un très bon niveau en français et nous partager de nombreuses anecdotes autour du Mont Etna ce qui enrichie et confirme que la visite avec un guide est indispensable pour découvrir ce volcan. Nous avons également pu profiter d’une dégustation de produits locaux.

Il consiglio di Frankie al punto info ( nonché nostro " pilota" durante l' escursione) di fare la gita del pomeriggio è stato ottimo: i colori del tramonto sono meravigliosi e c'è poca gente. La nostra guida Andrea ha coinvolto sia noi che le nostre figlie raccontandoci la storia dell' Etna in maniera così interessante e curiosa che non scorderemo mai questo pomeriggio . Oltre all' indiscussa preparazione trapela l' amore per la loro terra e la passione con cui si dedicano al loro lavoro. Bravissimi

Andrea is probably one of the best guides we ever had, so passionate, a real well of knowledge of Sicily in general. The price was fair and the desk so helpful! Go for it !

Esperienza fantastica: Usufruito di Etna Sicily Touring per l'escursione denominata "Elite Etna Morning Tour". Eravamo un gruppo di sei persone composto da noi e da due ragazzi di Budapest e due di Nizza. Puntualmente alle 08:30 è arrivata la nostra guida, della quale purtroppo non ricordo il nome. Abbiamo quindi iniziato il nostro tour all'interno di una grotta lavica (Monpeluso) nei pressi di Nicolosi per proseguire ai crateri Silvestri. Dopo una passeggiata al cratere Silvestre superiore (vista mozzafiato) abbiamo proseguito per raggiungere il punto panoramico della Valle del Bove. Per finire, un'ottima degustazione di prodotti locali a Zafferana Etnea. Posso dire che è stata un'esperienza perfetta, davvero ben organizzata a partire dalla fase di prenotazione fino al termine dell'escursione. Un grazie particolare alla nostra guida, davvero simpatica e professionale, che ha saputo rispondere ad ogni domanda che è stata posta da me e dagli altri componenti del gruppo. Ho letto molte recensioni, più o meno obiettive. E' vero che sono luoghi che puoi raggiungere autonomamente in auto, ma le spiegazioni che ti puo' fornire una guida e soprattutto una persona che conosce perfettamente quei luoghi non ha prezzo. Grazie per la splendida giornata e un caro saluto ai compagni di viaggio.

Esperienza fantastica: Scriviamo questa recensione per ringraziare questa stupenda agenzia per averci fatto vivere una giornata indimenticabile. Chiamati la sera prima all'ultimo, hanno saputo costruirci un tour personalizzato che andava a coprire tutte le nostre esigenze. Visita del parco archeologico di Siracusa; teatro greco, orecchio di Dionisio e Latomie del paradiso. Trasferimento ad Ortigia ( centro di Siracusa) e visita. Degustazione di vini tipici Dell'etna con tartine condite con prodotti tipici, pizza, salumi e formaggi. Trasferimento verso l'Etna nel pomeriggio, sosta a Zafferana etnea per la visita al fronte lavico del 1992. Trasferimento alla base di monte Zoccolaro per vedere la valle del Bove. Visita ai crateri dei monti Silvestri. Visita ad una grotta di scorrimento lavico. Prezzo assolutamente corretto per questa esperienza. La nostra guida Paolo, persona meravigliosa e operatore eccezionale, ci ha fatto godere al meglio questa esperienza che porteremo a lungo nel cuore. Tanto che speriamo presto di abbandonare nuovamente Milano per tornarcene giù :) Grazie Thomas. Grazie Paolo.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di avere come guida Alfina, che ci ha coinvolto con i suoi modi gentili e le sue spiegazioni più che esaustive ,a rivivere quei momenti. Alfina con la sua disponibilità e con il suo sorriso, ha fatto si che di questa gita, ci rimarrà un ottimo ricordo, un grazie va anche a Raffaele, l'autista, che ha accolto ogni nostra richiesta durante il viaggio. Besides that she direct us and draw on the map places in Catania to visit, where to eat, where to go out etc. With all historical and fun fact about those places. Very vivid! Esperienza fantastica: Très bonne expérience à l'Etna ! Andrea, le guide, à été génial surtout qu'il a du parler 3 langues pour l'excursion du jour. Il raconte l'histoire du volcan et donne des anecdotes très intéressantes. Plusieurs lieux sont faits dans la journée, ce qui fait que les paysages sont très variés et la journée riche en découverte. Frankie, le chauffeur, est très sympathique et participe aux conversations dans le pick up pendant la route. Si je devais y retourner, pour voir la vallée du boeuf (par exemple..., car aujourd'hui non visible à cause des nuages), je demanderai à ce que ce soit avec eux. Je recommande Sicilytouring

Esperienza positiva: Our guide for the day was Marco and I have to say he was knowledgable, friendly and chatty throughout the whole of the tour. I was a bit disappointed that the 4WD did not go off road but as this was not promised in the description it was not that much of an issue. Marco was a careful driver and escorted us first to a lava cave which was interesting if not spectacular. He had lots of information about its formation and was open to questions. Next we took a slow drive to 2500m up on Etna and then had a walking tour followed by a break for some lunch. I would suggest wearing a decent par of shoes for the walk around the many cones of etna as the ash on which you walk is not ideal in sandals. But the walk was interesting and lasted a good few hours. I would have liked to go up higher on the chair lift but again this would be via another tour. We then had a break where we could get something to eat and drink (which possibly could have been included in the tour price) and then we drove along the beautiful scenery to the huge lava field from the most recent eruptions. Again this viewpoint was amazing and Marco was informative at all points whilst driving and when we were at the view point. Finally we then went to a farm in the hills to taste olives, wine, oils, honey and many other local delicacies which were also available to purchase - be careful if tasting the Etna Flame Liquor - its very hot. I was pleasantly surprised that what I thought was a half day tour was actually all day and we arrived back in Catania at around 4pm and all 7 of us on the trip seemed to have enjoyed it and we were a mix of English, Norwegian and Germany and a mix of ages. Marco spoke to us all well in English and obviously had a love of the flora and fauna of the mountain and was very proud of his island. what a great tour guide.

Esperienza fantastica: Siamo partiti da Isola Bella alla volta dall'Etna alle 15:30 con la nostra guida Giovanni. Prima tappa enogastronomica alla scoperta dei prodotto tipici ( miele sublime), si riparte per visitare i crateri e fare un'escursione a piedi, esperienza da provare una volta nella vita, mentre il cielo era grigio, di colpo si crea uno squarcio e si vede tutto il panorama, un'emozione incredibile. Da qui ci muoviamo per la visita nella grotta lavica muniti di caschetti e torce, anche qui senza fiato. Ovviamente tutto ciò è stato esaltato dalla nostra guida Giovanni, un ragazzo che ama la sua terra, ama la sua Montagna, ci ha spiegato tantissime cose, ci ha fatto innamorare del suo vulcano; nonostante il tempo non fosse dei migliori ci ha fatto aspettare finché non abbiamo visto il panorama dai crateri a 2000m, infischiandosene di fare più tardi del dovuto. Ritornando verso valle vediamo una scia rossa.....beh era lui che ci salutava con le sue fontanelle di lava ( cosa che capita 3/4 l'anno), siamo stati fortunati nel vedere questo spettacolo della natura. Lo rifare ogni giorno.

Esperienza negativa: Purtroppo per 35 euro a testa mi aspettavo di meglio. Il cratere sud dove siamo arrivati è accanto al rifugio e potevamo tranquillamente arrivarci con la nostra auto in molto meno tempo. Il fatto é che si perde gran parte delle cinque ore a fare il giro per raccogliere tutti i partecipanti nei vari pick-up point e la sosta dura relativamente poco, comunque non abbastanza per fare una passeggiata con tranquillità. Anche la degustazione e la visita alla grotta, comprese nel prezzo, non bastano. Niente da dire sulla guida, competente e disponibile. Rispondo alla risposta del proprietario: Di tutta l'escursione ho già salvato la guida, ma ripeto: delle 6 ORE PASSATE IN GIRO soltanto 45 minuti trascorsi al cratere (dei quali una parte al rifugio). La mezz'ora di degustazione alla fine immagino porti più vantaggi a voi organizzatori che a noi. Il mezzo poi era abbastanza un catorcio, tanto che ad un certo punto temevamo rimanesse il cambio in mano all'autista. E per quanto riguarda la BUCA che chiamate grotta è vero, forse non l'avremmo trovata da soli ma è comunque aperta a tutti. Mi spiace puntualizzare in questo modo ma sono tornato a casa davvero stanco e sconsolato, e di tutta la vacanza in Sicilia credo questa sia stata l'esperienza più INUTILE, soprattutto per il tempo che abbiamo perso. So di essere uno fra i pochi insoddisfatti, vista la gran quantità di recensioni positive (specialmente su Tripadvisor), e questo sinceramente non lo capisco, ma spero che qualcuno faccia tesoro anche della mia recensione, e che serva a migliorare il servizio (anche se ne dubito).

Esperienza fantastica: Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la visite animée de façon dynamique et amusante par Andrea et conduite avec prudence par Frankie. Le tandem est super. Nous avons découvert plein de choses intéressantes grâce à Andréa, toujours très attentif aux membres du groupe .

Esperienza positiva: Nonostante il ritardo dovuto all’organizzazione di Etna Sicily Touring, la nostra guida Mario è stato davvero fenomenale! Bello il tour dell’area vulcanica fino a quota 1900mt che comprende non solo i crateri ma anche molto altro ad un prezzo molto accessibile.
