Esperienza fantastica: Do not miss this amazing ten day small group tour!!! Our guide extraordinaire, Douglas, shared his incredible knowledge and passion of Sicilian ancient, medieval and modern history. We loved his stories and enthusiasm that made Sicily come to life for us. The supporting guides were also excellent. From the back streets of Palermo, ancient temples, the largest intact and extravagent Roman villa uncovered in the world, beautiful gardens, fabulous food, breathtaking scenery, Sicilian history........so much and such varied experiences every day. The accommodation was of varied standards but always something interesting in or nearby. Lucia was most helpful in assisting us to organise our tour. Our transport was very comfortable with an excellent driver. We recommend at least one or more additional nights in beautiful Taormina under Mount Etna as one night would have left us disappointed. We also were very pleased that every day was not fully organised and we were able to take time out to do our own thing following Douglas's fabulous suggestions. Some were half days and not all meals were organised which was perfect. We thank the team and are delighted to recommend Sicily Tours with great enthusiasm.

Esperienza fantastica: Dopo aver esplorato diverse opzioni di tour, ho deciso di scegliere Ciauru di Sicily Tour dopo aver scoperto che la loro comunicazione e i prezzi erano molto chiari. Rispetto ad altri tour/autisti è necessario trattare molto e ci sono una varietà di prezzi che raramente avevo visto prima, diciamo solo che alcune aziende chiedono più dei biglietti aerei.... Siamo stati prelevati dalla nostra guida Angela, che ci ha portato in diversi posti intorno a Palermo e Trapani. Ciò che mi ha colpito è che il team non ha avuto problemi ad andare oltre ciò che era richiesto, prenotando ristoranti, hotel e tour enologici senza mai chiedere costi extra o lamentarsi del lavoro supplementare. Non c'era mai stato un momento in cui ci hanno fatto fretta o se c'erano posti che avremmo voluto vedere lungo il percorso che non fosse disposta a portarci. Inoltre, è stata in grado di darci informazioni di base sulla maggior parte dei monumenti e delle città, il che ha dato contesto al tour. Un episodio che mi è rimasto impresso è quando, per esempio, ci ha lasciato ai templi greci di Agrigento e ha guidato per 20 minuti fino ai gradini turchi per controllare (anche se ha chiamato) se potevamo visitarli ancora dopo essere stati informati che erano chiusi. Come detto, non hanno avuto problemi ad andare oltre ciò che era previsto. Altamente raccomandato e anche necessario per girare in Sicilia (senza auto avrai bisogno di diversi giorni in più solo per passare da un luogo all'altro).

Esperienza fantastica: Back in January, we booked a trip to Ortigia for September and were planning to do some group tours to other key locations. Then the pandemic happened and we thought that we would not be able to go on any tours. Fortunately, some good friends recommended that we contact Ciauru di Sicily Tour, which we did. Lucia was so helpful in responding to our enquiry and set up a Whatsapp call to discuss what we wanted and suggest options. She put together a fantastic itinerary for us, including a walking tour of Ortigia and visits to Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Taormina and some small and delightful “Godfather” villages. All just perfect for us and with a private guide. The itinerary was fantastic and our private guide, Angela, was just perfect. Very knowledgeable, helpful, organised, relaxed and flexible. Nothing was too much trouble and we had an amazing time – it was just like having your best friend show you round their home town! Esperienza fantastica: Escursione perfetta sull'Etna con la fantastica e preparatissima guida Sebino. La consigliamo per la serietà, puntualità ma soprattutto per la preparazione e la gentilezza di Sebino che ha saputo cucire l'escursione sulle nostre necessità e aspettative ed è riuscito a trasmettere la sua passione e amore per queste terre meravigliose.
